Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Consultant — Lead Enterprise Finance Transformation with Version 1. Build the Future of Finance. Lead from the Front. Are you a senior Oracle Cloud Financials professional who thrives on solving complex problems, leading clients through change, and delivering enterprise-scale transformation? Version 1 — the UK & Ireland’s leading Oracle Cloud partner and Oracle EMEA Innovation Partner of the Year 2023 — is expanding its Oracle practice and is looking for a Senior Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Consultant to lead high-impact finance transformation programmes for major organisations. This is a role for someone who wants ownership, influence, and variety — not just configuration, but true consulting leadership. This is a senior, client-facing consulting role where you’ll shape solutions, guide decision-making, and act as a trusted Oracle Cloud advisor. • Lead flagship Oracle Cloud Financials implementations across modules including GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Tax, Subledger Accounting, Procurement, Assets, and Expenses, • Own the functional journey end-to-end — from Proof of Concept through go-live and post-implementation optimisation, • Work directly with senior stakeholders, influencing how modern finance functions are designed and delivered, • Lead and deliver core Oracle Cloud Financials workstreams on enterprise programmes, • Configure Oracle Cloud instances for client Proofs of Concept and demonstrations, • Run requirements gathering, design, and gap analysis workshops, • Lead application configuration and solution validation workshops, • Drive functional ownership of:, • Data migration activities, • Integrations with peripheral systems, • Testing strategy, script creation, and UAT support, • Deliver high-quality reporting solutions using:, • Oracle Transactional BI (OTBI), • Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), • Smart View, • Produce clear, high-quality functional documentation using OUM and/or AIM, • Support training delivery, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live support, • Manage change requests, risks, and client expectations throughout the delivery lifecycle, • Ensure clients are prepared for and adopt Oracle Cloud quarterly releases, • Provide clear, structured status updates to project managers and clients, • Strong, hands-on Oracle Cloud Financials experience across multiple modules: GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Tax, Subledger Accounting, Procurement, Assets, Expenses, • Experience delivering multiple full lifecycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementations, • Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud reporting tools: OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio, Smart View, • Confident leading workshops, engaging stakeholders, and driving functional decision-making, • Experience producing functional specifications to support technical integrations, • Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining quality, pace, and client confidence, • Accounting or finance background, • Exposure to Oracle EPM modules, • Be part of a global Oracle practice of 700+ specialists, • Work on large-scale, enterprise Oracle Cloud programmes, • Join an award-winning consultancy recognised for innovation and delivery excellence, • Clear career progression, strong leadership support, and genuine investment in your growth, • A culture that values expertise, autonomy, and doing things properly, • Strong career progression & mentorship through our Strength in Balance and leadership programmes, including quarterly Pathways Career Development reviews., • Significant training budget for certifications and further education., • Version 1 Annual Excellence Awards & Call-Out recognition platform celebrating achievement., • Moments that matter & enhanced maternity/paternity leave policies to support your journey., • Active ESG & CSR initiatives, allowing you to give back through fundraising, volunteering, and diversity, inclusion & belonging programmes., • Quarterly performance-related profit share, • Hybrid / Remote working flexibility, • Pension, private healthcare, life assurance cover Ashley Billington, Head of Talent Acquisition – Enterprise Applications (Oracle Cloud - ERP, HCM, EPM) +447840839370 We are an equal opportunities employer.
