Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) OR Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) Location: Nottingham, NG13 Setting: GP Surgery System: SystmOne Contract Type: Permanent Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join a well-established and supportive GP Surgery based in Nottingham. This is a permanent opportunity offering stability, flexibility, and the chance to work within a collaborative and patient-focused primary care environment. Working Pattern • Ideally Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays (1–3 days per week), • 08:00am – 18:30pm, • Some flexibility may be considered for the right candidate Role Overview The successful candidate will work autonomously as part of a multidisciplinary primary care team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to patients across all age groups. The role requires strong clinical decision-making skills and confidence in independently assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing both acute and long-term conditions. Key Responsibilities • Undertake comprehensive patient assessments including history taking, clinical examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning, • Independently manage minor illness and undifferentiated presentations, • Prescribe safely and effectively within scope of independent prescribing qualification, • Request, interpret, and act upon diagnostic investigations, • Support the management of long-term conditions including asthma, COPD, diabetes, and hypertension, • Provide health promotion, preventative care, and self-management advice, • Refer patients appropriately to secondary care or community services, • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records using SystmOne, • Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider multidisciplinary team, • Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives Essential Requirements • Qualified ANP or ACP with Full Level 7 Master’s qualification, • Independent Prescribing (V300) qualification, • Previous experience working within Primary Care / GP Surgery settings, • Proficiency using SystmOne, • Ability to work autonomously and manage clinical risk effectively For further information or to apply, please contact Eleanor on 01772 208963 or email
