Please find below the job summary and key requirements: Position: Head Dental Nurse / Receptionist Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person (Bethnal Green Road) Pay Rate: £16.00 – £18.50 per hour Job Description: Our friendly and professional team is seeking an experienced individual to take on a combined Head Dental Nurse and Receptionist role. The successful candidate will play a key part in managing the day-to-day operations of the clinic while ensuring excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities: • Organising and supervising the work of administrative staff, • Ensuring the smooth daily running of the clinic, • Managing clinicians’ schedules and coordinating patient appointments, • Monitoring compliance with quality standards and medical protocols, • Handling documentation and working with medical systems, • Managing procurement and inventory of medical supplies, • Liaising with the NHS and other regulatory bodies, • Overseeing financial and insurance-related operations Required Skills and Qualifications: • Previous experience in a medical or dental setting, ideally with management responsibilities, • ESSENTIAL: Fluent English and Russian (written and spoken), • Excellent organisational and communication skills, • Confident PC user; experience with medical/dental software is an advantage, • Highly responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented, • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently make decisions

    We are looking for a very reliable and caring Support worker / learning support / carer who has already experience in care and with severe autism. About the young man: He is a disabled and autistic non verbal 18 year old with severe epilepsy, a movement disorder and additional health needs. he is very friendly but needs a lot of help with everything He lives at home with his family and dog. His team of Learning support workers / carers help him with his daily life & routine which includes supporting and facilitating access to activities and community, help him with learning more self help skills and communication, all of his personal care, provide 1 - 2 overnight support shifts per week (these are waking nights), and keep his environment and laundry clean & tidy. He needs a lot of help with all elements of daily life. He is developing his communication skills using picture exchange and gestures, such as pointing. When he is well he likes physical activities (with a lot of support) — like going to the pool, walks in the parks, disability bike rides. He needs a lot of support with all of these activities as he also has a movement disorder. He also likes to chill with his sister and watch movies and join in Family meals. Unfortunately he often also needs a lot of care as he can have seizures which lead to him needing to spend time in hospital. About the Position: You will be provided with regular training on his health needs, care needs, and behavioural support. The training is provided by the experienced team members of the team as well as his ABA therapist. You need to be strong and fun as well as reliable to fit into the very professional and experienced team. You will need to have worked with disability and autism before (babysitting a nephew is not enough). Perhaps you also have already experience with care elements like CIC catheterisation and Peresteen as well as PEG and giving medications otherwise we can train you. This might be a good position for someone who has a keen interest in disability, psychology, nursing, and the position could suit a part time student of a relevant field. Unfortunately we do not think that having worked in a care home would be the relevant experience. It is also an opportunity to learn a lot and to be part of a very nice supportive team. You would need to be willing to commit for a minimum of 12 months. We would prefer someone who can work with a UTR number on a self-employed basis and who can work a minimum of 35 hours per week. No smokers or vapers please. You need to be dog friendly too. We hope to find someone who is open to work some weekends and some bank holidays too (shared with the team). Starting wage is £16 per hour. This role is ideal for someone with strong dental practice management experience who is highly organised, and confident leading a sales-focused front-of-house and patient journey. The Role You will be accountable for clinic performance across: • Reception and patient journey, • Diary utilisation and capacity planning, • Conversion rates (enquiries → consultations → treatment), • Team standards, training, and accountability, • Operational compliance and smooth daily execution You will work closely with clinicians and leadership to ensure an excellent patient experience while maintaining strong commercial performance. Key Responsibilities Operations & Leadership • Lead the reception/admin team and keep the clinic running to a premium standard, • Own the daily schedule: appointment flow, clinician utilisation, and minimal downtime, • Implement and maintain SOPs, checklists, and high-performance routines, • Manage stock, labs, suppliers, and service contracts Sales & Growth (Core Priority) • Drive booking conversion from calls, WhatsApp, website leads, and walk-ins, • Ensure follow-up systems are executed daily (no lead left behind), • Track and improve treatment acceptance through confident patient coordination, • Coach the team on scripts, objection handling, and premium patient communication, • Monitor key performance metrics and report weekly performance with action plans People & Culture • Recruit, train, and performance-manage reception and admin team members, • Run daily huddles and weekly reviews, • Promote a calm, professional, accountable clinic environment Compliance & Quality • Ensure smooth compliance with clinic standards (policies, records, protocols), • Work with leadership to maintain quality, audits, and governance routines Requirements (Must Have) • Minimum 2+ years as a Dental Practice Manager or senior dental management role, • Strong understanding of private dentistry operations and patient journey, • Proven ability to increase conversion, fill diaries, and drive sales outcomes, • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and follow-through, • Confident communicator (phone, WhatsApp, email, in-person), • Comfortable leading a team and holding standards firmly, • Experience in a premium/private clinic environment (London preferred), • Knowledge of dental software(DENTALLY)/CRM systems, • Experience implementing scripts, scorecards, and performance dashboards How to Apply Apply with: • Your CV and a short cover note answering:, • Your dental management experience (clinic type, team size), • One example of how you improved conversions/diary utilisation, • Your notice period and availability Language: Portuguese and Spanish (preferred)
