The Role As Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the business, helping to ensure the venue operates smoothly, efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they have both knowledge and experience in the social care sector, specifically mental health. The registered manager will need to register with the CQC and passing the probation stage of the role will be dependent on the CQC approving their registration. Our mental health residential home is seeking a new manager to support up to 13 service users who live with mental illness, physical disabilities, dementia, and/or complex behaviours. Responsibilities Ensuring the safety and well-being of the service users within the home · All service users will be safe, provided with person-centred care, and indicating that they are happy via feedback mechanisms · Holding responsibility for all areas of the care provided Following CQC regulations and ensuring the home is compliant · Maintaining CQC compliance, regularly auditing and improving, and preparing for CQC inspection.
