Rockingham Partners | Head of People Performance Location: Remote with UK-wide travel (in or near Hampshire may be advantageous) Salary: £45-50k About the Role This is a unique opportunity for someone who’s had a successful career in hospitality operations or and L&D but is ready for something different. You’ll work across multiple client hotels to elevate team performance – not just through traditional training, but by developing the habits, mindset and behaviours that drive real results. This role blends hospitality expertise with human performance. You’ll help individuals and teams become better operators, stronger salespeople, and more commercially aware – while also supporting them to perform at their best personally and professionally. It’s practical, people-focused and ideal for someone who thrives on developing others and making a tangible impact across multiple businesses. The Opportunity • Lead the design and delivery of Rockingham’s Human Performance & Development offering across multiple hotel projects., • Deliver hands-on coaching and training across key areas including customer service, complaint handling, and sales performance., • Build a proactive sales culture within hotel teams, helping individuals spot opportunities and drive revenue., • Introduce teams to broader hospitality disciplines, including commercial awareness and revenue management fundamentals., • Support individuals in improving personal performance through better habits, energy management, and lifestyle choices., • Visit sites regularly to coach, mentor and motivate teams on the ground., • Work closely with internal leadership to align people development with operational and commercial goals., • Collaborate with hotel teams and owners to ensure clear, measurable improvements in performance. What We’re Looking For • Experienced hospitality professional (e.g. Hotel Manager, Operations Manager, F&B leader or L&D specialist) with a strong understanding of how hotels operate day-to-day., • A natural people person who enjoys coaching, motivating and developing others., • Commercially aware, with the ability to link training and development to business outcomes., • Positive, energetic and engaging, with the ability to influence at all levels., • Strong organisational skills and comfortable managing multiple projects at pace., • An interest in personal development and human performance, and how it translates into better workplace results., • Happy to travel and adapt to different environments.
