4Recruitment Services are seeking a Family Support Worker to work for our client based in Bury. We are requiring a dedicated and resilient practitioner with a strong background in working with children and young people on the edge of care. These young people are often hard to reach and require someone with the experience, empathy, and determination to build meaningful relationships and create lasting change The post holder will be required to work minimum 3 days per week office/community based with ability to WFH 2 days by request (in line with service need). DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: To be allocated as a key worker for children & families. To undertake whole family assessments including the use of evidence-based tools. To work with parents / carers, children and young people as well as the family network through home visits or otherwise, ensuring that good outcomes are achieved. To co-produce plans with families that contain SMART outcome focussed goals. To lead on or participate in, formal internal and / or multi-agency reviews in line with practice standards. To deliver practical interventions including the use of evidence-based tools. To complete recording on case files that is accurate and evidences the voice of the child throughout intervention and planning To work in a whole family way promoting and developing parenting skills. Support children, young people and their families to build resilience and develop coping strategies. To organise and lead on group work with parents, young people and children where required. To ensure children and their parents have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the service. Work with education partners and other key stakeholders to identify threshold appropriate support and intervention. To effectively utilise supervision to discuss casework, training or any other issues as appropriate. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: Level 3 or above qualification in Health / Social Care or similar relevant area. Significant experience in working with vulnerable children and their families Experience of assessing, planning and working with children and families in a multi-disciplinary context, working with families around parenting strategies and approaches. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage children who may be resistant or withdrawn. A reflective and resilient approach to practice, with a commitment to continuous learning. Knowledge of safeguarding, child development, and family dynamics. This position is a three-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for the role to be made permanent based on performance and business needs. The Purchasing Administrator role overview: In the role of Purchasing Administrator, you will act as the first point of contact for all purchasing requirements within the business providing high quality, professional administrative service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring enquiries are efficiently and courteously handled. Your Role as a Purchase Administrator: Raising purchase orders for stocked parts, as well as non-stock items to meet the requirements of the business and (where possible) uploading orders via the Data switch program. Reviewing open orders on the system, updating the purchase order with delivery information and delivery dates once confirmed, closing off any cancelled orders, advising sales and warehouse of parts short for sales orders. Reviewing upcoming purchase order deadlines amending delivery dates advised by suppliers as well as chasing shipments and advising the stores team of shipments. Adding part numbers and amending information relating to parts in Syspro (ERP system). Working with the development team to update suppliers of modifications/new releases of parts. Arranging purchase and distribution of components to China and Brazil factories for forecast builds. Validating bill of materials and requesting approval from Management/Director level. Responsible for managing and tracking shipments, including booking direct freight, updating the ERP system, transferring sea shipments, and providing barcode listings for stock. Manage all aspects of cash handling, including processing requests, conducting audits, and maintaining the security of the safe. Collaborate with software support to resolve system issues. Essential Skills & Experience: Requires a minimum of one year experience in a purchasing administrative role. Proven ability to offer high levels of service in person, over the phone, and via email. with the capability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise. Friendly with a flexible approach, coupled with demonstrable organisation and prioritisation skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
