Marketing and Content Executive Chotto Matte – Soho Up to £40,000 per annual depending on experience Full-time onsite – split between our Soho restaurant location and London Head Office About us: Chotto Matte is a globally renowned Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant group with locations in London, Manchester, Riyadh, San Francisco, and Toronto. We are seeking an experienced and creative Marketing and Content Executive to join our flagship restaurant in the heart of London – Soho. About the role: As Marketing & Content Executive, you will be the creative force behind Chotto Matte’s brand communications, developing and executing a bold, insight-led content strategy that builds brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty. You’ll create and manage content across social media, newsletters, paid ads, and campaign copy, helping position Chotto Matte as a leader in modern Nikkei dining. This is a highly creative, hands-on role for a strong storyteller with a standout personality who can bring the brand to life across every touchpoint. This is not a traditional 9–5 role and will require regular on-site presence for content capture, events, and activations, working in real time to bring ideas to life. A true team player, you’ll be confident getting into the kitchen, on the floor, and across all departments, working collaboratively to capture authentic content at source and support wider business needs. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation, Copywriting & Strategy • Develop and implement a cohesive, forward-thinking content strategy aligned with brand and commercial objectives, • Produce high-quality, engaging, on-brand content across social media, websites, newsletters, email marketing, campaigns, and printed materials, • Lead copywriting across all channels, including brand storytelling, menus, campaigns, and CRM communications, • Craft compelling narratives that bring to life Nikkei cuisine, events, activations, and the Chotto Matte lifestyle, • Take ownership of email newsletters and CRM communications, ensuring strong storytelling and conversion focus On-Site Content Capture & Social Media Management • Use iPhone and native tools to capture high-quality, real-time content including trending video, food & beverage, and atmosphere-led storytelling, • Oversee day-to-day management of all social channels, ensuring consistent tone of voice and frequent, high-quality output, • Grow and engage communities across Instagram, TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and LinkedIn, • Stay ahead of trends and ensure content remains culturally relevant and platform native Paid Social & Digital Marketing • Plan, execute, and manage paid social campaigns across Meta and Google Ads, • Optimise campaigns for awareness, engagement, and conversion, • Continuously analyse performance, refine targeting, and improve creative output, • Work closely with leadership to ensure paid media supports broader commercial objectives Community Engagement & Brand Storytelling • Engage directly with audiences across all platforms to build authentic relationships, • Manage responses, comments, DMs, and brand sentiment proactively, • Elevate guest experience through meaningful digital interaction and storytelling Analytics & Optimisation • Track, measure, and report on content and campaign performance across all channels, • Translate insights into actionable creative and strategic improvements, • Deliver monthly performance reports with clear recommendations for growth Creative Collaboration & Brand Consistency • Collaborate with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and external creatives, • Ensure all output aligns with Chotto Matte’s visual identity and tone of voice, • Act as a guardian of brand consistency while pushing creative boundaries, • Be a key creative driver for a rebellious, modern hospitality brand identity Qualifications: • 3–4 years’ experience in content creation, digital marketing, or a similar role within hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury sectors • Strong background in copywriting, storytelling, and content strategy, • Experience managing paid media campaigns across Meta and Google Ads, • Demonstrated ability to grow social media channels and drive engagement, • Strong understanding of social platforms, trends, and digital culture, • Confident in capturing and editing high-quality iPhone content, • Experience managing email marketing and CRM communications, • Strong creative instincts with a passion for culture, food, and hospitality, • A natural team player with a strong personality who can confidently represent and elevate the brand voice • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with multiple projects running simultaneously Our Team Benefits: • Competitive salary, • Fast-track career progression and training, • Comprehensive Bupa Health Insurance (post-probation), • 50% off across all Chotto Matte restaurants and sister venues, • Staff recognition and performance-based incentives
