As we continue to scale, we are looking for a motivated and consultative Business Development Manager to join our commercial team. The Role As a Business Development Manager at Softools, you will be responsible for engaging manufacturing organisations, uncovering operational challenges, and demonstrating how Softools can deliver measurable value. You’ll manage the full sales cycle — from first conversation to closed-won and seamless handover to Customer Success. What You’ll Do • Engage & Educate Manufacturing Prospects: Pitch Softools to stakeholders across Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams, understanding their challenges and operational needs., • Deliver High-Impact Product Demonstrations: Become proficient in demonstrating Softools apps and platform capabilities and tailor demos to client workflows and KPIs., • Lead Consultative Discovery: Run structured discovery sessions to understand processes, gaps, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into clear value narratives., • Build Value-Based Proposals: Create compelling proposals grounded in quantified value such as efficiency gains, compliance improvements, and cost savings., • Own the Full Sales Cycle: Qualify, scope, and develop opportunities from first call through contract signature, ensuring a smooth handover to Customer Success.
