    About Us We are a fast-growing food wholesale business specialising in the distribution of fish, crustaceans, molluscs, and a wide range of other food products to restaurants, retailers, and catering businesses across the UK. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Commercial Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities • Oversee and manage day-to-day commercial operations within the wholesale food division, • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and strategic partners, • Analyse market trends, pricing, and supply chain performance to support commercial decision-making, • Lead negotiations with suppliers and customers to optimise profitability, • Identify new business opportunities and implement strategies to expand product lines and customer base, • Manage key accounts and ensure high standards of customer service, • Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operational performance, • Monitor inventory levels and contribute to demand planning, • Prepare commercial reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management, • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and industry regulations Requirements • Proven experience in commercial management, sales management, or business development (preferably within food wholesale or FMCG), • Strong understanding of food supply chains, especially seafood products (fish, crustaceans, molluscs), • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, • Strong analytical ability and commercial awareness, • Ability to manage key accounts and develop long-term business relationships, • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with inventory or order management systems is an advantage, • Fluency in English (additional languages beneficial)
