Client Manager, Outsourcing: Accountancy Practice Ascot, Berkshire £65,000 (DOE) Full-time, Permanent Are you a qualified Client Manager ready to take the next step in your career with a progressive and people-focused firm? Our client, a highly respected Top 100 UK accountancy practice, is seeking an experienced Client Manager to join their Outsourcing team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a portfolio of diverse and growing businesses, helping them streamline their finance operations and make informed decisions through data-driven insights. The Role: As Client Manager, you’ll take responsibility for managing a varied portfolio of outsourcing clients. You’ll oversee delivery of outsourced accounting, management reporting, VAT, and advisory services, while mentoring junior team members and ensuring a first-class client experience. You’ll be at the forefront of digital finance, leveraging leading cloud-based tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, Apron, Silverfin, and Fathom to drive efficiency and automation. Key Responsibilities: • Manage a portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, delivering bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT, CIS, and related services, • Review management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and KPI reporting, • Act as a trusted adviser to clients, providing strategic financial and process improvement insights, • Identify opportunities to enhance client services and add value through advisory offerings, • Oversee and support junior team members, fostering professional growth, • Collaborate with other internal teams, including Tax, Audit, and Payroll, • Ensure full compliance with accounting and VAT standards About You: • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with 2–4 years’ post-qualification experience, • Background in an accountancy practice, ideally within Outsourcing, • Strong experience managing client relationships and delivering to deadlines, • Excellent knowledge of cloud accounting systems (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks Online), • Confident leader with strong communication and mentoring skills, • Passionate about digital transformation and process improvement What’s on Offer: • Excellent opportunities for progression, including mentoring and leadership development, • A collaborative and supportive culture that values innovation and client care, • Exposure to a wide range of clients across different industries, • Flexible hybrid working arrangements, • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, • Holiday buy/sell scheme, • Ongoing professional development If you’re a qualified and ambitious professional looking to combine client management, team leadership, and digital finance expertise, we’d love to hear from you.
