We’re on the lookout for a Supply Chain Operations Manager to drive CONDUCTR’s day-to-day supply chain, turning business demand into effective purchasing, smooth logistics and the right materials in the right place at the right time. \n \n About Us: \n \n CONDUCTR is a dynamic collective of designers, technologists, media experts, producers & engineers. Responsibilities: \n \n Demand Planning & Business Coordination \n\n • Work with relevant business functions to understand demand and translate approved requirements into purchasing, replenishment and delivery activity.\n, • Consolidate product forecasts, project requirements and production plans into an operational purchasing plan.\n, • Challenge incomplete or unclear requirements where they could affect supply or delivery.\n, • Monitor stock, open orders, supplier lead times and material requirements, identifying shortages and risks early.\n, • Provide clear information on stock availability, material status and supply risks.\n, • Resolve or escalate conflicting or changing requirements.\n, • Ensure purchasing is based on approved specifications, BOMs and build requirements.\n\n \n Purchasing & Supplier Management \n\n • Manage the day-to-day purchasing process within agreed purchasing authorities and controls.\n, • Raise, issue, amend and manage purchase orders accurately and on time.\n, • Manage routine supplier communication, order confirmation, expediting and delivery issues.\n, • Maintain accurate purchasing and open-order records.\n, • Ensure purchasing reflects agreed supplier arrangements, pricing and lead times.\n, • Coordinate the operational onboarding of approved suppliers, working with the Head of Strategic Supply Chain and Finance to ensure the required purchasing, commercial and system information is in place.\n, • Resolve routine supplier performance, delivery and order issues.\n, • Coordinate supplier returns, replacements, credits or RMAs where required.\n, • Escalate significant commercial, contractual, capacity or supplier issues to the Head of Strategic Supply Chain.\n, • Manage complex, urgent or priority purchasing requirements where required.\n\n \n Replenishment, Stock & Inventory \n\n • Own routine replenishment and repeat-component ordering for established products.\n, • Maintain appropriate reorder points, minimum stock levels and safety-stock parameters.\n, • Maintain appropriate stock levels against agreed demand.\n, • Use stock information provided by the Stock & Inventory Controller to support purchasing and replenishment decisions.\n, • Identify shortages, excess stock and changing demand early and take appropriate action.\n, • Review obsolete, damaged, excess or slow-moving stock and recommend appropriate action.\n, • Ensure stock write-offs or disposal follow the agreed approval process and financial controls.\n\n \n Logistics, International Trade & Material Readiness \n\n • Coordinate domestic and international inbound and outbound shipments.\n, • Arrange routine freight and courier activity where required.\n, • Manage international shipping requirements, including Incoterms, duties, customs and import/export documentation.\n, • Coordinate with Finance, suppliers and logistics partners on foreign-currency considerations where relevant.\n, • Maintain visibility of ordered, outstanding and at-risk materials.\n, • Coordinate material readiness for product builds, R&D activity, scenic production and project delivery.\n, • Resolve routine logistics issues and escalate significant risks that could affect delivery.\n\n \n Damaged, Incorrect & Non-Conforming Goods \n\n • Ensure damaged, incorrect or non-conforming deliveries are resolved promptly.\n, • Work with the Stock & Inventory Controller to ensure affected goods are correctly identified, recorded and isolated where required.\n, • Coordinate replacement, return, credit or other action with the supplier.\n, • Involve Engineering, Product Engineering, Show Set or other relevant technical owners where technical acceptance is required.\n, • Escalate recurring or significant supplier-performance issues to the Head of Strategic Supply Chain.\n\n \n Strategic Supply Chain Interface \n\n • Work closely with the Head of Strategic Supply Chain on supplier performance, sourcing decisions and escalations.\n, • Implement agreed supplier and sourcing arrangements.\n, • Provide operational feedback on supplier performance, delivery reliability and recurring issues.\n, • Escalate significant commercial, capacity or supplier risks.\n, • Support strategic supplier reviews where operational input is required.\n\n \n Process, Reporting & Team Management \n\n • Maintain clear reporting on purchasing, stock, supplier performance, logistics and material readiness.\n, • Maintain agreed operational supply-chain KPIs.\n, • Identify recurring issues and implement practical improvements within purchasing, logistics and inventory processes.\n, • Maintain appropriate purchasing controls, process discipline and data quality.\n, • Work with Finance as ERP and financial-process owner.\n, • Ensure purchasing requests follow agreed approval and authority processes.\n, • Line-manage and develop the Stock & Inventory Controller.\n, • Coordinate purchasing, stock and logistics activity against business priorities.\n\n \n You Should Have: \n \n\n • Experience in purchasing, supply-chain operations, procurement operations or logistics.\n, • Strong purchase-order administration and supplier-expediting experience.\n, • Experience in demand planning, replenishment or stock control.\n, • Ability to translate business requirements into clear purchasing and supply actions.\n, • Strong organisation, process discipline and attention to detail.\n, • Experience managing supplier communication and delivery follow-up.\n, • Experience with international inbound and outbound trade, including Incoterms, duties, customs requirements, international shipping and foreign-currency considerations.\n, • Experience using purchasing, ERP or inventory systems.\n, • Ability to manage competing priorities and operational issues.\n, • Strong stakeholder and supplier communication.\n, • Experience maintaining accurate operational records and reporting.\n, • Practical process-improvement capability.\n, • Ability to manage and develop a direct report.\n, • Ability to work closely with a strategic supply-chain lead while retaining responsibility for day-to-day
