Systems Management · Support the administration and access of internal tools such as Asana, Airtable, and SharePoint. · Creation of protocols and best practice guides for GIID operations. · Ownership of remote logistics, including virtual mailbox, virtual voicemail, and coordinating with the bank where necessary. · Monitoring of subscriptions to GIID software platforms ensuring that payments are made so licenses are kept up to date. · Monitoring of software platform tools to ensure all active subscriptions are being used. Financial and Contract Management · Support the development and processing of contracts, scopes of work, and agreements, with vendors, partners, and network participants. · Coordinate with the financial administrator and external bookkeepers to communicate accurate up to date records. · Management of the Global HR vendor platform, both as an administrator and a key point of contact for staff. About Police Digital Service The National Management Centre (NMC) is part of Police Digital Services and provides visibility and control of information risks for policing. It supports the 24x7x365 nature of police operations, providing a threat detection and response capability for digital services before, during and after cyber-attacks, enabling stakeholders to understand and proactively manage risk across the technology estate at both the national and force level Key Responsibilities As a member of the NMC Protective Monitoring Team you will respond to immediate security threats on NMC Monitored networks that may impact our client network. The NMC Protective Monitoring team's goal is to detect, analyse, investigate, and respond to cyber security alerts using a combination of cutting-edge technology and a strong set of processes. The NMC Cyber Detect Analysts will work closely with teams across the NMC, typically with the Incident Response Teams to ensure security issues are addressed quickly upon discovery. NMC Cyber Detect Analyst duties involve but are not limited to: Initial Triage of alerts - evaluation & detection Confirmation of false positive Incident data gathering and feedback on any gaps and issues in respect to Platform Content or tuning opportunities Reflection of incident severity based on analysis Escalation of potential incidents to customer or Senior Cyber Detect Analyst/CIMT Team as appropriate Trend Analysis of force-by-force events for presentation into forces at regular intervals Continuous input into the value and optimisation of content Regular Performance conversations with line manager A proactive approach to personal development and coaching conversations to challenge and develop yourself and others.
