Within this role, you will lead the organisation's transformation portfolio, corporate planning framework and performance architecture, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into effective delivery. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide leadership across transformation, planning and governance while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement and sustainable change. What you will be doing: - Lead the organisation's transformation portfolio, ensuring programmes and projects are strategically aligned, effectively governed and deliver measurable business outcomes. Shape and deliver the corporate planning framework, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into clear, achievable plans with defined milestones and accountabilities. Provide strategic oversight of transformation activity, working with the Executive Team and Senior Leadership Team to prioritise, sequence and manage organisational change in line with business priorities and capacity. Develop and embed a robust organisational performance framework, providing meaningful insight, dashboards and reporting that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Translate complex performance data into clear, actionable recommendations, enabling leaders to identify opportunities, manage risks and improve organisational performance. Lead the development and continuous improvement of governance and assurance processes, ensuring effective project controls, reporting, risk management and decision-making across the organisation. Oversee benefits realisation and performance tracking, ensuring transformation initiatives deliver sustainable value and measurable outcomes. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing strategic insight, constructive challenge and support to enable successful delivery of organisational priorities. Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, creating clarity, accountability and opportunities for professional growth. Build organisational capability in transformation, planning, performance management and continuous improvement, promoting consistent approaches and best practice across the organisation. Work collaboratively with People & Culture to ensure behavioural, cultural and organisational change is embedded alongside structural and process improvements. Contribute as an active member of the Senior Leadership Team, helping to shape organisational strategy, strengthen cross-functional collaboration and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture. About you We're looking for an experienced and strategic leader with a proven track record of leading transformation, corporate planning and organisational performance within a complex organisation. You'll be comfortable operating at a senior level, influencing decision-making, driving change and building strong relationships across the organisation. You will bring: Significant experience of leading transformation programmes, strategic planning, business performance, PMO or assurance functions within a complex organisational environment. Experience of developing and delivering organisational strategies, corporate plans and transformation portfolios that deliver measurable outcomes. A strong understanding of governance, programme and project management, risk management and performance frameworks, with the ability to establish effective controls and assurance processes. Experience of working closely with Executive Teams, Senior Leadership Teams and Boards, providing strategic advice, insight and constructive challenge. Experience of developing high-performing teams and building organisational capability in transformation, planning, performance management and continuous improvement. A strong understanding of organisational change, including the behavioural, cultural and people dimensions required to successfully embed sustainable change. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information, identify trends and translate data into meaningful insight and practical recommendations. Outstanding communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage, challenge and inspire a wide range of stakeholders. The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery, managing competing priorities while maintaining focus on organisational objectives. A collaborative, inclusive and values-led leadership style, with a commitment to building trust, fostering accountability and creating a culture of continuous improvement. A degree or equivalent professional experience, together with a recognised programme, project or change management qualification (such as PRINCE2, MSP, APM or equivalent) and evidence of continuing professional development, will support your success in this role. This is a fixed term contract until March 2029.
