Key Responsibilities • Analyze production costs, variances, and profitability drivers for manufacturing operations., • Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning., • Prepare detailed financial reports, including actual vs. budget performance and key manufacturing KPIs., • Conduct in-depth variance analysis on COGS, labor, and overhead, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions., • Evaluate capital expenditure projects, performing ROI and payback period analysis for new equipment and expansions., • Support inventory valuation, obsolescence analysis, and cost accounting functions specific to manufacturing., • Collaborate with operations teams to understand cost drivers and optimize production efficiency. Recommended Qualifications • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis., • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing KPIs., • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing environment., • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)., • Ability to analyze complex operational and financial data to drive business insights. Bonus Qualifications • Experience with a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing context., • Demonstrated understanding of cost accounting principles and variance analysis in a production environment., • Familiarity with manufacturing KPIs (e.g., OEE, yield, scrap rates) and their financial impact., • Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies., • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for operational and financial reporting.
