Job Description Title: Machine Operator- Plastic ID Cards Location: New Hudson, MI(Onsite) Duration:3+ Months SUMMARY Operates an electronic ID card issuance machine. Produces plastic identification cards in accordance with established industry corporate standards and approved requests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Operates all ID card issuance equipment in the course of performing daily plastic ID card production duties., 2. Maintains daily production logs., 3. Runs production and test files., 4. Pulls special requests from production files, as required., 5. Ensures proper maintenance of equipment by completing request for service, basic troubleshooting, maintenance and cleaning needs of the ID card issuance machines., 6. Performs ongoing verification of production quality., 7. Update systems to reflect job status for accurate reporting., 8. Utilizes computer to complete duties such as fulfill requests, respond to inquiries, update reporting metrics and track inventory., 9. Perform other related duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 1. High school graduate or GED equivalent is required., 2. Related experience in production environment., 3. Demonstrated experience using windows based computer applications. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must possess, or be able to obtain, and apply knowledge of ID card issuance procedures pertaining to identification card production in the Plastic Card Services Department., 2. Must complete departmental training on operation and maintenance of ID card issuance equipment., 3. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds., 4. Must have attention to detail, organization, and good communication skills., 5. Must be willing and able to work flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays., 6. Must be willing and able to work different shift during peak production periods., 7. Must be able to work independently and to learn quickly, as well as work in a team environment., 8. Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
