Job DescriptionDescription: Job Details: FLSA Status: Salary Exempt Full time Department: Finance & Accounting Reports To: VP of Finance Work Schedule: This position requires full-time work of 40 plus hours per week during regular business hours with required flexibility from the employee to work extra hours to complete work when needed. Objectives: This position functions as the primary team member overseeing daily responsibilities related to finance, accounting, payroll, tax, and office management. Primary Responsibilities: · Oversee all day-to-day accounting functions ensuring accuracy and compliance with all rules, governing regulations, best practices, and company policies · Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements · Create internal and external reports including, but not limited to, weekly runs, monthly income statements and balance sheets, annual fiscal reports, tax reports, budgets, invoices, etc. · Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and other ledger entries. · Enter trade and expense vendor invoices. · Oversee balance sheet integrity, including cash, credit lines, inventory, AR/AP, fixed assets, accruals, etc. · Perform financial analysis regarding cash flow projections, forecasting, budgeting, and other financial aspects of the company. · Manage the cash disbursement activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, petty cash, employee expense reports, commission program management, payroll processing, and total corporate payroll tax compliance. · Create new vendor profiles in system · Cross train and assist with the collection of receivables and processing customer invoices · Process bi-weekly payroll for 30+ employees; including making journal entries, calculating commissions, taxes, and other deductions. · Coordinate annual benefit renewal, open enrollment, and benefit eligibility and management · Manage personnel files and data in the on-line HR systems, assist with status changes, maintain HR-related paperwork · Manage expense report reimbursement, company credit card usage reviews & payments, and other similar HR/financial functions Other Responsibilities: · Provide assistance in IT functions, CRM, ERP, and other systems working with 3rd parties · Oversee various functions in the office such as office supplies · Complete ad-hoc accounting and general office functions as needed Compensation Structure: Annual salary commensurate with experience: $70,000 to 80,000 Benefit Eligibility: Full-time eligibility: assistance with health insurance, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance, 401k with profit-sharing.
