About the Role Senior Accountant As a Senior Accountant at Enclave, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting principles. This individual will take ownership of key accounting processes, support month-end and year-end close activities, and contribute to financial reporting and analysis. As a key member of the accounting team, the Senior Accountant will help mentor junior team members and support cross-functional collaboration to ensure the financial health of the organization. Position Logistics • Primary Work Location: West Fargo, ND Corporate Office, • Work Environment: On-Site, • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday | Standard Hours, • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and appropriate documentation, • Reconcile general ledger accounts, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly, • Lead and support month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion, • Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules, • Prepare internal financial reports and management summaries, • Analyze financial results, provide variance explanations, and support forecasting efforts, • Maintain fixed asset records and ensure timely recording of additions, disposals, and depreciation, • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control procedures, • Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing accounting policies and procedures, • Collaborate with AP, AR, payroll, and other departments to ensure transactional accuracy, • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with financial data and insights, • Perform other duties as assigned, • All employees are responsible for the general upkeep of work and shared spaces, • Punctual and regular attendance is required of all employeesQualifications, • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field., • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, • CPA preferred, • Experience in real estate, construction or multi-entity environments preferredWe're Seeking Individuals Who Have:, • GAAP & Financial Reporting: Applies a solid understanding of GAAP principles to ensure accurate and compliant financial documentation., • Accounting Systems Proficiency: Navigates platforms like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar with ease to streamline accounting workflows., • Advanced Excel & Data Tools: Leverages advanced Excel functions and optionally data visualization tools to support financial analysis and reporting., • Accuracy & Organization: Maintains high standards of precision and organization across all financial tasks and deliverables., • Analytical & Communication Skills: Combines strong analytical thinking with clear communication to solve problems and collaborate effectively., • This position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while performing office tasks and have the capacity to maintain proper posture and ergonomics to prevent discomfort or injury., • This position requires manual dexterity and proficiency in using computer keyboards, mice, and other office equipment.
