Job Description Are you a strategic IT leader who thrives in complex, international environments? This role offers the opportunity to oversee and elevate a global infrastructure landscape spanning multiple continents. We’re seeking a Global IT Infrastructure Manager to spearhead worldwide infrastructure operations—ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability across a diverse technical ecosystem. This leader will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, guide a distributed technical team, and drive forward the organization’s infrastructure vision. Team Leadership & Development • Guide, mentor, and develop an infrastructure operations team that supports a global network of business units., • Delegate workloads with clarity and fairness, balancing urgency with team capabilities., • Promote collaboration, communication, and a culture of continuous improvement. Strategic Planning & Resource Management • Build operational and project plans that anticipate needs and support long-term growth., • Secure and manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets while following internal financial processes., • Ensure alignment between infrastructure initiatives and overall technology strategy., • Define and track KPIs and operational dashboards to evaluate performance., • Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, efficiency, and automation. Infrastructure Operations & Optimization • Oversee systems administration, network operations, and core infrastructure services., • Maintain optimal performance across hardware, operating systems, storage, and virtualization platforms., • Lead efforts to modernize, standardize, and scale infrastructure across global environments. Security, Compliance & Continuity • Ensure infrastructure meets security, reliability, and compliance expectations., • Maintain and improve business continuity and disaster recovery plans., • Evaluate risks proactively and champion secure-by-design practices across teams. Incident Response & Communication • Coordinate clear, timely communication during incidents and infrastructure events., • Build processes that strengthen operational readiness and response effectiveness. What You Bring • Expertise across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), networking, wireless technologies, telephony, virtualization, physical infrastructure, and storage/backup systems., • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks., • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to operate calmly under pressure., • Demonstrated experience solving complex technical challenges in global environments., • Relevant professional certifications are a strong plus., • Ability to travel internationally—approximately 20% of the time. Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field., • At least 7 years in IT infrastructure and operations management., • Minimum 3 years leading and motivating high-performing technical teams., • Familiarity with: – Network technologies: LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WiFi, routing – Data centers, server rooms, and hybrid environments – Windows, Linux, VM platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V – SAN/NAS, cloud backup solutions, and DR planning – Firewalls, proxies, endpoint protection – Active Directory, IAM, SSO, MFA, SCIM – Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint – Monitoring, CMDB, and ITSM platforms (e.g., Freshservice)

A Little More About The role:Gravie is looking for a Platform Support Engineer who will play a key role in keeping our internal application development platform running smoothly and supporting the engineering teams who rely on it. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated, goal-oriented, team-focused engineer with a passion for automating systems and infrastructure. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot platform capabilities, monitor and report on support workflows, produce high-quality documentation, and assist our development teams to utilize our cloud platform to their fullest potential. You will:· Support Gravie’s internal applications development platform and assist development teams in utilizing and troubleshooting the platform's capabilities.· Monitor and report on support processes, workload and support demand.· Collaborate with engineering and testing teams to implement support processes, triage support requests and design and develop fixes.· Provide support and assistance to engineering teams on utilization of our development platform capabilities.· Contribute to the design and implementation of proactive platform and application monitoring systems, ensuring optimal health, performance, and security of Gravie applications.· Ensure the production of comprehensive, high-quality system documentation, setting standards for technical communication within the team.· Exemplify and champion Gravie’s core values of authenticity, creativity, curiosity, empathy, and outcome orientation, inspiring your team to do the same. You bring: · 5+ years of relevant experience that includes: * 1 - 2 years’ experience collaborating with technical users to triage and resolve technical problems and bugs. * 1 - 2 years’ experience administering CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CodePipeline. * 1 - 2 years’ experience with server configuration, software installation and administration including limited scripting in a Linux environment. * 1 - 2 years’ Experience installing software in a major public cloud provider (AWS, Google, Azure)· Familiarity using cloud infrastructure definition tools such as AWS CloudFormation/CDK and Terraform.· Familiarity with monitoring systems such as AWS CloudWatch and Datadog to troubleshoot technical problems.· Familiarity with SQL and the ability to formulate simple queries.· Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.· Desire to learn new technologies and deepen your platform, cloud and automation skills.· You must be eligible to work in the United States without need of sponsorship now or in the future. The salary range for this position is $82,500 - $137,500 annually. Numerous factors including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. will be considered when determining compensation.
