We are looking for a curious, organized, visually oriented Marketing & Sales Specialist to manage day-to-day marketing, support and participate in sales, and gain hands-on experience coordinating technical projects. Our work spans marine, government, infrastructure, hydroelectric power, food & beverage, aerospace, and other industrial markets—providing exposure to diverse technologies, customers, and projects. What You’ll DoLead Marketing, Digital Presence & Content · Own website content, project examples, company messaging, calls to action, and ongoing improvements. · Manage SII’s LinkedIn presence and content calendar, including technical posts, project stories, videos, and success stories. · Develop targeted marketing campaigns aligned with company growth priorities and track leads and campaign effectiveness. · Manage marketing automation, co-marketing platforms, branding, credentials, certifications, and digital assets. · Coordinate marketing and co-marketing activities with Rockwell Automation and other strategic partners. · Develop and maintain brochures, presentations, proposal content, flyers, campaign materials, sales templates, and other customer-facing content. · Translate technical information and project experience into clear, compelling messaging, technical writing, graphics, testimonials, and project stories. · Use modern productivity, analytical and AI tools responsibly to improve research, writing, graphics, and workflow efficiency. · Coordinate customer events, trade shows, recruiting events, and educational outreach. Support Sales & Business Development · Respond to and help qualify inbound leads from the website, phone, email, partners, and other sources. · Participate in direct sales activities with existing and prospective customers, including outreach, cold calling, follow-up, scheduling, and quoting support. · Work with sales and technical teams to identify target markets, prospective customers, market trends and research, and campaign opportunities. Coordinate Projects & Learn Project Management · Help coordinate selected customer projects involving engineering, production, sales, vendors, and customers. · Assist with schedules, action items, documentation, communication, and follow-through. · Learn how industrial automation projects are planned, executed, commissioned, and closed out, with increasing responsibility as your skills grow. · Provide support for engineering project documentation as needed. (e.g., submittals, O&M manuals and meeting minutes) What We’re Looking For · 2-year or 4 year degree in business or marketing, Communications, or related field. · Demonstrated solid technical writing skills. · Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, email, video, and in person. · Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel. PowerPoint. Experience with PDF editing WordPress. · A visual orientation and ability to create clear, professional, graphics-rich materials. · Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities. · Initiative and an ability to learn new technologies, industries, software, and business processes. · Comfort using or learning modern AI-enabled productivity tools. · Interested in developing skills across sales, marketing, industrial automation, and project management. Helpful, But Not Required Experience in marketing, sales, customer service, technical writing, graphics, project coordination, or a technical/industrial environment. Familiarity with LinkedIn, website content management, CRM/marketing automation, Adobe/Canva, WordPress, CAD, engineering drawings, manufacturing, controls, or electrical systems is also a plus. Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000. Final compensation will be based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience. Benefits: Health/medical, dental, vision, retirement/401(k), paid vacation/PTO, paid sick leave, and paid holidays. Other compensation: Profit-sharing after one year of employment. Work Location & Schedule This is a full-time or part-time position based at Systems Interface Inc. in Mukilteo, Washington, with an expectation of working in the office five days per week.
