Our team is built by local experts and entrepreneurs who've earned trust through hard work and integrity. What Sets Us Apart? We lead with integrity and innovation, forging lasting relationships with customers, employees, and local partners. We're growing fast, and so is the potential for your career. This is your chance to make a real impact in an industry that's booming. The Bottom Line... Big industry. Big opportunities. Big rewards. If you've got the hustle, we've got the runway. Who we want... Someone who's worked in cannabis and has a passion for cannabis and customer service. Not someone who's going through the motions, someone who genuinely wants to leave every conversation better than they found it. If you've ever gone the extra mile for a customer just because it was the right thing to do, this role was built for you. Beyond that: • Experience in cannabis retail, customer service, or outbound calling, ideally more than one of those, • Comfortable on the phone and able to handle rejection without losing your warmth or professionalism, • Strong listening skills, you know when to talk and when to let the customer lead, • Reliable and self-directed; you can work through a structured queue independently and consistently hit your daily targets, • Detail-oriented when it comes to logging calls and keeping your queue cleanYour Role: This isn't a call center job! Every call gets logged, every outcome gets tracked, and you'll have full visibility into your own performance through a live scoreboard. Most cannabis companies let customers walk out the door and never think about them again. Quality Roots doesn't. We built a proprietary outreach system from scratch to personally call lapsed customers, find out why they left, and win them back - one real conversation at a time. You'd be one of the people making those calls. This is new territory in cannabis retail. No script-reading, no pressure tactics, no churn-and-burn cold calling. At its core this is a customer service role. You're not selling, you're reconnecting. Own Your Market & Travel • Travel 50%+, including frequent overnight travel and trips that may last a full work week., • Strategically plan customer travel based on account opportunity and expected business impact., • Manage an assigned travel and entertainment budget and demonstrate appropriate return on travel investment., • Attend industry trade shows and other customer-facing events as required., • Independently identify and prioritize new target accounts and market opportunities. What We're Looking For • 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, ideally selling complex or custom manufactured products., • A proven closer: demonstrated ability to prospect, develop, and close new business independently., • Strong business judgment, commercial instincts, and strategic thinking, you plan several moves ahead, not just to the next order., • Skilled at navigating complex organizations: identifying who actually holds influence, and building trust with each of them., • Ability to distinguish between legitimate customer objections and surface-level resistance and adjust strategy accordingly., • Composure under pressure; not easily thrown off course by a curveball in a negotiation or account., • High level of personal accountability, resourcefulness, and follow-through., • Strong communication and relationship-building skills., • Technologically capable and comfortable learning new systems; NetSuite experience preferred but not required., • Experience within packaging, CPG, or related industries is helpful but not required., • Bachelor's degree preferred; demonstrated ability, experience, and results are more important., • Ability and willingness to travel nationwide 50%+.
