Location: San Francisco, CA Compensation: $21–$26/hour RCM Healthcare is currently hiring Paraprofessionals and Behavioral Interventionists to provide direct support to students with IEPs in the San Francisco area. These positions are school-based, working either in classrooms or one-to-one with students under the guidance of teachers and/or a BCBA when a Behavior Intervention Plan is in place. * Support students in achieving goals outlined in their IEP and/or BIP. * Assist with classroom routines, behavior management, and academic support. * Provide personal care as needed, which may include toileting, diapering, and feeding support. * Accurately collect and report data on student progress. * Use CPI de-escalation strategies and implement safe physical interventions when necessary. * Must meet one of the following: * Passing score on the Paraprofessional (Parapro) exam * 48 completed college credit hours * Associate’s (AA) degree or higher * Comfortable working with students with special needs, including behavioral and developmental challenges. * Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and BCBAs. * Patience, empathy, and an understanding of developmental stages. * Ability to apply ABA strategies effectively. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Hours align with the school district’s bell schedule (no nights, weekends, or holidays). * Active role requiring movement and engagement with students in multiple settings.
