Job Description We're Hiring: Dog Daycare & Boarding Assistant Love dogs? Want hands-on experience with pack care & training? We're looking for a responsible, reliable student to join our team! About the Job • Caring for & supervising dogs, • Helping keep play safe & fun, • Feeding, cleaning & helping manage packs, • Learning dog training skills over time Musts... • Reliable & VERY Responsible, • Responsive & good communicator, • Experienced with multiple dogs, • Confident & a good problem solver, • Friendly, great with people & willing to learn, • Have your own transportation/DL, • Active, able to go up and down stairs easily, • Have a consistent phone/same number Schedule: Mostly Thursday-Sunday nights and occasionally holidays. Great for students! Please note this is not a weekly schedule. This is a random schedule that is very flexible and you will be on a very short list of other helpers that I call as needed. The more you say yes, the more I call you first and the more work you get! Internship credit available + opportunity to grow! Pay: Based on experience, pack size & number of overnights/days worked (pay range $100-$2000 month depending how often you are needed per month) Pay & Contractor Status (W-9) • Paid per pack size and per overnight/day worked (not hourly), • 1099 independent contractor status (we'll collect a W-9), • No tax withholding - you're responsible for your own taxes, • 1099-NEC issued if you earn $600+ in a calendar year, • Possible deductions for eligible business expenses (ask a tax pro), • Not an employee (no benefits); you set how you do the work within safety guidelines, • W-9 required before first payment; you may submit simple invoices Located in Mt.
