Job Description Working with the Career Bound Manager, the person in this position will assist in the developing of programs for teens. Assist in the development of processes and procedures, as well as the implementation of the programs. Job Description The AmeriCorps Program Manager directs the delivery of the Great Futures AmeriCorps Program (“the Program”) as prescribed by both the Volunteer Florida AmeriCorps and Palm Beach County Youth Services Division. The Program Manager is responsible for implementing and managing all aspects of the Program including, but not limited to: recruiting, training, managing and retaining national service volunteers (AmeriCorps members) and Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) participants, per the agreements. The Program Manager is responsible for working with the seven Club directors and designated Club staff to ensure fulfillment of programmatic goals. This position provides instructional leadership to the project and manages daily activities at the sites, including AmeriCorps member assignments, Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) activities, community volunteer, and participant attendance management. The incumbent will set the performance standards and actively work with staff, volunteers and partners to develop and maintain a highly effective Program. This position requires excellent project management, case management and administrative skills, as well the ability to maintain effective working relationships with her/his caseload of volunteers and support staff. The Project Director will: encourage AmeriCorps members, YVC members, and community volunteers to complete the program; manage and monitor all grant duties and deliverables; and align activities with organizational and program objectives.
