We are a fully remote agency and are looking for remote talent to join our team! Plein Air is looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Manager, Business Analytics to join our growing analytics team, supporting a portfolio of restaurant and hospitality clients. This is a client-facing role that requires a blend of strategic thought-leadership (translating data into business recommendations) and hands-on operational execution (data preparation, governance, and reporting). The role has a primary focus on marketing analytics, but with exposure to digital performance, media effectiveness, and financial impact modeling. The ideal candidate has a passion for consumer behavior, and thrives in a fast-paced agency setting. Key Responsibilities: Client Strategy & Storytelling • Serve as a primary analytics lead for multiple restaurant clients, acting as a strategic partner to account and client teams., • Design and deliver performance reporting and media tests, gleaning performance insights tailored to each brand’s unique goals., • Manage and verify data integrity by collating and validating data from multiple client sources to ensure consistent, accurate reporting., • Analyze campaign performance (CRM, loyalty, promotions) and provide recommendations for optimizing engagement and ROI., • Develop guest segmentation models to inform targeting, personalization, and lifecycle strategy., • Measure and optimize performance across paid digital media, owned digital channels (email, app, website), and social platforms., • Partner with media teams and platforms to assess attribution, channel efficiency, and spend performance., • Support financial analysis of marketing initiatives, including incremental revenue, AOV shifts, and LTV., • Partner with clients’ finance or operations teams to align marketing insights with business KPIs., • Help craft forecasts and business cases that guide client investment decisions. Department: Analytics Reports To: Director, Business Analytics Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, or related field., • 5+ years of progressive analytics experience, preferably in an agency, multi-client, or multi-brand setting., • Restaurant, hospitality, or retail analytics experience is highly valued., • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, BigQuery, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)., • Strong grasp of marketing and media metrics (e.g., CPA, ROAS, CTR, conversion rate)., • Ability to balance analytical depth with client-facing clarity—great storytelling with data., • Curious.
