Job Description Marketing & Public Relations Manager Position Summary The Marketing & Public Relations Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, strengthen community partnerships, and drive growth across all Milestones organizations, including: • Milestones Services, • Milestones RISE, • Milestones Care at Home, • Milestones Transportation, • Okolona Child Care This position combines marketing strategy, sales funnel development, digital marketing, public relations, community engagement, and brand management. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, capable of building systems that consistently convert awareness into referrals, admissions, and customers while maintaining a positive public image for each organization. The Marketing & Public Relations Manager will work closely with executive leadership to ensure all marketing efforts align with the mission, values, and strategic goals of the organization. Reporting Relationship Reports to: Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director Primary Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Brand Management • Develop and execute annual marketing plans for each organization., • Maintain consistent branding across all companies., • Identify new opportunities to increase market share., • Develop marketing campaigns supporting organizational growth., • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities., • Develop key messaging for each service line., • Ensure all marketing materials accurately represent services and regulatory requirements. Sales Funnel Development Develop and manage marketing funnels that generate qualified leads and convert them into customers. Responsibilities include: • Creating customer journeys from awareness through enrollment., • Designing lead generation campaigns., • Developing landing pages., • Building email nurture campaigns., • Managing CRM lead pipelines., • Tracking conversion rates., • Optimizing marketing campaigns using performance data., • Creating automated follow-up systems., • Developing referral funnels for healthcare providers, hospitals, schools, case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and community agencies., • Building parent enrollment funnels for Okolona Child Care. Digital Marketing Manage all online marketing efforts including: • Website content updates, • SEO optimization, • Google Business profiles, • Social media strategy, • Facebook, • Instagram, • LinkedIn, • YouTube, • Email marketing, • Paid digital advertising, • Google Ads, • Facebook Ads, • Analytics reporting Social Media Management Develop and maintain an engaging social media presence. Responsibilities include: • Creating monthly content calendars, • Writing engaging posts, • Creating graphics and short videos, • Publishing content across all platforms, • Monitoring engagement, • Responding to comments and messages, • Growing followers, • Increasing engagement, • Highlighting participant success stories, • Promoting services and events, • Maintaining brand consistency Content Development Develop high-quality content including: • Blogs, • Articles, • Success stories, • Newsletters, • Press releases, • Educational materials, • Recruitment campaigns, • Employer branding, • Videos, • Infographics, • Brochures, • Annual reports, • Marketing collateral, • Community resource guides Public Relations Serve as the organization's public relations representative by: • Building relationships with local media., • Preparing press releases., • Coordinating interviews., • Managing media inquiries., • Supporting executive communications., • Developing crisis communication plans., • Promoting positive community stories., • Protecting organizational reputation. Community Relations Represent the organization throughout the community by: • Building referral relationships., • Attending networking events., • Coordinating sponsorships., • Managing community partnerships., • Developing strategic alliances., • Coordinating community outreach., • Organizing public events., • Supporting fundraising initiatives., • Increasing organizational visibility. Referral Development Develop referral relationships with: • Hospitals, • Physicians, • Mental health providers, • Schools, • Case managers, • Guardians, • Social workers, • Community organizations, • Long-term care facilities, • Behavioral health providers, • Rehabilitation centers, • State agencies Event Planning Coordinate: • Community events, • Health fairs, • Ribbon cuttings, • Open houses, • Educational workshops, • Recruitment events, • Provider appreciation events, • Family engagement events, • Speaking engagements Marketing Analytics Track and report: • Website traffic, • Social media growth, • Lead generation, • Customer acquisition cost, • Conversion rates, • Referral sources, • Campaign ROI, • Advertising effectiveness, • Email performance, • Enrollment trends Provide monthly executive reports with recommendations for improvement. Graphic Design & Creative Development Develop marketing materials including: • Flyers, • Brochures, • Presentations, • Digital advertisements, • Social graphics, • Print advertisements, • Trade show displays, • Signage, • Recruitment materials Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field., • Three to five years of marketing experience., • Experience managing social media platforms., • Experience with CRM software., • Strong writing and editing skills., • Graphic design experience using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite., • Experience with email marketing platforms., • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing., • Excellent communication and presentation skills., • Strong project management abilities. Preferred Qualifications • Healthcare marketing experience., • Human services or nonprofit marketing experience., • Experience marketing Medicaid waiver or behavioral health services., • Experience developing sales funnels and marketing automation., • Knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO., • Photography and videography experience., • Experience with Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
