Job DescriptionBenefits: • 401(k) matching, • Company parties, • Competitive salary, • Dental insurance, • Flexible schedule, • Free food & snacks, • Health insurance, • Paid time off, • Training & development, • Tuition assistance, • We're a small established civil and structural engineering firm of 20+ people who care about each other and taking care of our clients who trust us., • We all help other within our office across teams and disciplines., • We look out for each other and our clients.Why We Are Hiring:, • Our industrial group is growing because we're engaged and responsive, and good at solving our clients needs., • We're looking for an engaged and curious problem solver who is a structural engineer with at least 3 to 4 years experience and is planning to become licensed, and can engage and communicate with our staff and clients to gain their trust., • We want someone who can be comfortable collaborating with other team members to find solutions.Skills We'd Like You to Have, • Proficient in performing structural engineering design and calculations., • Familiarity with design codes such as IBC, ASCE-7, AISC 360, ACI 318, etc., • Comfortable reading and reviewing structural drawing packages and specifications., • Ability to work with multiple materials such as structural steel, concrete, and wood., • Reading and coordinating vendor drawings (i.e. PEMB or equipment drawings)., • Foundation and anchorage design., • Self-directed and mentally engaged with ambition for learning., • Able to competently communicate in person and in writing.
