Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Outrider Rooftop Lounge and Cobre + Kitchen and Cocktails restaurant. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Supervise and coordinate the work of the bartenders at the Outrider Rooftop Lounge and Cobre + Kitchen and Cocktails restaurant., • Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate important information and updates to the team., • Leads and motivates bartending and serving staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient team., • Responsible for ordering and inventorying of bar supplies, liquor, beer and wine., • Assigns duties and responsibilities to bartenders, providing clear instruction and guidance., • Ensure that guests receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience., • Conducts table touches and addresses customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner., • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve the performance of bartenders., • Conduct regular inspections of bar areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards., • Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure the smooth flow of orders and timely service., • Coordinate with the kitchen on special requests or dietary restrictions., • Addresses any maintenance or equipment issues promptly., • Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned., • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures., • High school diploma or equivalent. EXPERIENCE • A minimum one (1) year of supervisory experience required., • Food Handler's Card - must be state/county-specific., • Strong leadership and communication skills., • Excellent organizational abilities., • Attention to detail., • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure., • Knowledge of food and beverage operations including catering and banquet service., • Computer proficiency in Google Workspace., • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook., • Excellent customer service skills., • Ability to motivate and inspire a team to provide extraordinary customer service., • Able to lead in a culturally diverse work environment and is a champion for diversity in the organization., • Able to adapt dynamically to shifting internal and external conditions., • Able to identify and seize revenue-generating opportunities while effectively managing costs and resources., • Knowledge of key industry trends, regulations, and the current industry landscape., • Proficient in time management; the ability to effectively organize and manage multiple priorities., • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes., • Competent in public speaking., • Recognizes an emergency and takes appropriate action., • Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation., • Able to use sound judgment; work independently, with minimal supervision., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., • Preforms well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions., • Balancing maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces. Specifically, when the amount of balancing exceeds that needed for ordinary motion and maintenance of body equilibrium., • Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Specifically, if it is to a considerable degree and requires full motion of the lower extremities and back muscles., • Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees., • Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine., • Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction., • Standing: Particularly for sustained periods of time., • Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks. Specifically, for long distances or moving from one work site to another often., • Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward, or outward., • Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion., • Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. Specifically, if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles., • Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm., • Feeling: Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips., • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly., • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound., • Hands to Fingers: Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling., • Repetitive Motion: Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers., • Close Vision: Clear vision at 20 inches or less. Required to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading or visual inspections., • Color Vision: Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
