Summary The IT Technician serves as a key member of The Dewberry’s IT team, providing technical support to hotel staff, D Build’s corporate office in Atlanta, and Oyster Park in Mount Pleasant. This role is responsible for assisting team members with technical questions, troubleshooting requests, and equipment repairs, while ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems and devices. Additionally, the IT Technician will maintain accurate documentation and create user instructions for Dewberry computing systems and processes. Key Responsibilities Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: • Respond to IT service tickets and emails promptly, providing 5-star customer service and troubleshooting support for all IT-related issues., • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the IT Administrator or Director as appropriate., • Discover, analyze, and resolve issues related to the testing, maintenance, modification, installation, and use of operating system software., • Utilize the ticketing system and property control software to document daily activities and maintain accurate inventory, configuration, warranty, and repair records., • Conduct interviews with staff to assess IT needs and develop recommendations or repairs for desktop computing equipment., • Recommend computer upgrades and system improvements to enhance user experience and efficiency., • Ensure all data processing equipment, printers, and networking systems are functioning properly., • Maintain an organized inventory of IT supplies and resources., • Provide training and technical guidance to team members as needed., • Participate in ongoing learning through webinars, online resources, and industry conferences to remain current on emerging technologies and best practices., • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a high school diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of four years of experience in computer system analysis, design, testing, debugging, and maintenance., • Strong proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems., • Exceptional customer service skills and a demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality technical support., • Understanding of the unique needs and pace of a hospitality environment., • Professionalism, tact, and sensitivity in working with a diverse team., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and respond to issues promptly., • 401(k) with Company Match (4%)*, • Education Reimbursement*, • Paid Maternity Leave*, • Complimentary Downtown Parking, • Complimentary Dry Cleaning, • Complimentary Daily Lunch Buffet, • Best-in-class Health & Supplemental Insurance*, • Optional Supplemental Coverages*, • Financial Advising with Roadside Capital, • Competitive Pay, • Advancement & Growth Opportunities, • Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available About The Dewberry Recognized globally for excellence, The Dewberry is a 2022 Condé Nast Traveler Gold List award recipient for Best Hotel in the World and the proud winner of Virtuoso’s Best Independent Hotel award.
