Job Description We’re looking for a highly motivated, wildly creative, and relentlessly organized Director of Social Media to lead the charge across dozens of client accounts. This is not a “schedule some posts and hope for the best” kind of role. This is for the person who lives and breathes social media strategy, thrives under pressure, and knows how to rally a creative team toward results that actually matter. As Director of Social Media, you’ll oversee the development and execution of compelling, ROI-driven social media strategies for clients across a wide range of industries. You’ll guide our content writers, inspire our graphic designers, and work side-by-side with the Executive Creative Director to ensure every campaign hits the mark. If you can balance creative vision with data-backed strategy—and make it all look effortless—we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: • Lead and develop overarching social media strategies for a diverse client portfolio., • Direct and collaborate with internal teams, including graphic designers and videographers to produce compelling, on-brand content., • Content writing - social media captioning, • Oversee content calendars, campaign execution, and platform optimization across all major social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.)., • Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to ensure ongoing growth and engagement., • Stay ahead of social trends, algorithm updates, and emerging platforms., • Present strategy and performance updates to clients as needed., • Work closely with the Executive Creative Director to align social efforts with broader marketing initiatives., • Ensure all social content is timely, creative, brand-aligned, and engaging., • 4–5+ years of proven experience in social media strategy and content direction—preferably within an agency environment., • Strong leadership skills with experience managing creative teams (videographers, designers, etc.)., • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills., • Deep understanding of social media KPIs, analytics, and tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout, Later, etc.)., • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment while keeping an eye on the big picture., • Hands-on experience with paid social campaigns is a plus., • A collaborative, energetic team of creatives who work hard and laugh harder., • Opportunity to lead strategic initiatives that make a measurable impact., • Modern offices in West Knoxville with great coffee and better conversations., • Flexible PTO, sick days, and year-end bonuses based on company performance., • Vision, dental, life insurance, and more (note: comprehensive health insurance not included).Company DescriptionAdvertising Agency - Full ServiceAdvertising Agency - Full Service
