A Day in the Role You clock in, review work orders and prints, and set up your station. Using industrial sewing machines, radio frequency fabric welders, grommet machines, and other production tools, you prepare materials with tape measures, chalk lines, rulers, squares, scissors, and marking pencils. You load and feed material—manually or via automated systems—check alignment, and fine-tune machine settings. Throughout the run, you monitor output, verify dimensions, and record counts, defects, and rework with precision. Between jobs, you perform routine checks, make minor adjustments, and keep your area clean and organized. You move work-in-process and finished goods with jack trucks, hand carts, or push carts, coordinate with teammates to hit targets, and follow all safety and environmental procedures.
