GTI Values: Safey I Quality I Customer Obsession I Speed I Agility Role Overview The Director of Program Management leads the strategic alignment between sales, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing. This leader oversees the program structure, merging long term customer relationship management with high-level project oversight to ensure the successful execution of complex programs. Taking full P&L accountability, the Director sets the vision for growth while driving accountability across departments to launch and maintain production for GTI’s global manufacturing footprint. Job Responsibilities • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the program management strategy to drive revenue, market share, and operational excellence across the business unit., • P&L Management: Lead full P&L management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for the entire book-to-bill process., • Operational Oversight: Oversee cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products and the maintenance of current production portfolios., • Customer Strategy: Act as the strategic escalation point for customer communication, bridging gaps between technical teams and internal operations., • Talent Development: Develop a high-performance team of Program Managers through coaching, mentoring, and recruitment to drive program success., • Process Optimization: Manage the phase-gate release process and ensure every program has a robust quality control and build plan., • Capacity Planning: Coordinate with production planning to ensure ample capacity for current and upcoming customer programs based on demand forecasts., • Resource Allocation: Determine project responsibilities and assign personnel to specific phases and program elements., • Risk & Roadblock Mitigation: Identify and clear organizational roadblocks to ensure the success of customer orders and new product launches., • Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or a related discipline. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred., • 10+ years of strategic or operational leadership experience with direct P&L accountability., • At least 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing of complex electro-mechanical systems., • Proven track record with Engineered to Order (ETO) or New Product Introduction (NPI) processes., • Proficient with MS Office Suite and scheduling software. Exposure to CAD, 3D modeling, and SolidWorks is preferred., • Strong executive presence with a demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and lead cross-functional teams.
