This role requires strong technical expertise, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain accuracy and efficiency across the product lifecycle, with U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required. Responsibilities: • Lead, mentor, and supervise the Configuration Management / Document Control team, setting goals, standard work, and best practices, • Serve as the primary configuration management point of contact across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program Management, • Direct all configuration management and document control activities to ensure accurate control of engineering data and product structures throughout the lifecycle, • Chair and lead the Change Control Board (CCB), ensuring engineering changes are complete, approved, traceable, and fully implemented, • Own and administer the PLM system, including user access, workflows, governance, training, and continuous improvement, • Create, test, and maintain PLM workflows, SOPs, and procedures in partnership with Engineering and IT, • Ensure data integrity and alignment between PLM and ERP systems, including BOM accuracy, • Lead and support internal and external audits related to configuration management, technical data, and regulatory compliance, • Support ITAR classification and technical data governance activities, • Track and report metrics related to change cycle time, accuracy, compliance, and workload, • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred (Equivalent experience may be considered)., • Minimum 7 years of experience in configuration management, engineering, or manufacturing within an aerospace or regulated manufacturing environment., • Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred., • Demonstrated experience with PLM systems and engineering change management processes., • Strong background in procedure development, process improvement, and cross functional collaboration., • Strong leadership, coaching, and decision making skills., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface effectively at all organizational levels., • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and related business systems.
