Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Performs JD Edwards material transactions (work order/inventory/shipping/receiving), • Prepares outbound packages for shipments, • Have knowledge of international shipments (FedEx, UPS, DHL), • Performs material receipt transactions and reconciliation adjustments with accounts payable or purchasing and stockroom material issuance against work orders, • Executes and resolves cycle count variances and investigates and determines remediation plans for inventory/material variances and shortages, • Processes pick/ship tickets, prepares material for outbound shipments, and expedites/resolves backlog issues, • Recommend and implement inventory optimization strategies to improve inventory accuracy, and availability, • Acts in cross functional roles which may include expediting, PC/IC clerk material handlers, shipping and receiving, cycle counting and stock room functions, • Perform other related duties as assigned Education: • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: • Minimum of 1-year experience in a material management capacity in a manufacturing environment, • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Windows, Outlook), • Requires strong math aptitude, • Self motivated and goal driven with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment, • Maintain high level of transaction accuracy Physical Requirements: • Employee is occasionally required to stand, • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk throughout the facility, • Occasionally will need to bend, stoop and squat, • Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or move up to 50 pounds, • Required to reach with hands and arms to handle documents and products, • The work environment conditions are typical of a manufacturing environment.
