What You’ll Do: As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for: • Working in clean-room environments while adhering to strict grooming and cleanliness standards., • Performing workstation-based tasks for 60–70% of each shift to ensure operational efficiency., • Conducting cleaning processes using vapor degreasers and solvent baths., • Maintaining and operating cleaning and tooling equipment, including ultrasonic systems and grit blasting., • Performing general clean-room housekeeping duties., • Handling, cleaning, and tooling polished optics and laser crystals to ensure quality., • Inspecting precision surfaces using microscopes and evaluating defects against Military Standards., • Accurately entering inspection results and process data into Shop Floor Control systems., • Completing process documentation, including tools, equipment settings, and process times., • Working independently while consistently meeting production timelines and coating schedules. What You’ll Bring: The ideal candidate for this role will have: • A high school diploma or GED, • 1 year of CNC experience (milling and lathe preferred), • Strong, consistent work history, • Strong visual acuity for microscope inspection., • Excellent manual dexterity for working with small, delicate components., • The ability to follow procedures and work independently., • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, or a willingness to learn., • Strong verbal and written communication skills., • Flexibility to train on 1st shift then transition to 3rd shift after training is completed Materials Used: Methanol, Acetone, Ammonium Bi-Fluoride solution.
