Job Description Job Title: Clinical Research Data Coordinator (Multiple Openings) Job Description The Clinical Research Data Coordinator collects, transcribes, and transmits clinical data for multiple investigational drug studies. This role ensures that pharmaceutical sponsors receive accurate, complete, and timely data, while supporting high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and clinical research quality. Responsibilities • Input clinical data from electronic medical records (EMR) and other relevant documents into the electronic data collection system within required contractual timelines., • Address sponsor study team queries in the electronic data collection system and ensure all responses meet contract deadlines., • Collaborate and communicate effectively with nursing staff to resolve internal data and query issues in a timely manner., • Schedule, prepare for, and attend monitoring visits, including closeout visits, ensuring all data is up to date and all queries are addressed prior to review., • Provide regular status updates to the Clinical Trial Specialist on data entry progress and query resolution, and promptly escalate issues when necessary., • Submit protocol deviations in accordance with contract timelines and document them accurately., • Review, redline, and file confirmation and follow-up letters resulting from monitoring visits., • Meet all data management deadlines established by internal stakeholders and external sponsors., • Ensure patient rights, safety, and welfare are protected throughout the clinical trial process., • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with clinic staff, clients, and administrative personnel., • Maintain required certifications in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP)., • Uphold a professional demeanor at all times, respecting patient dignity and maintaining strict confidentiality., • Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality and reliably report to work as scheduled., • Maintain a professional appearance and a positive, respectful attitude in all interactions., • Proactively identify and resolve trial-related issues with minimal guidance, seeking support when appropriate., • Perform job duties with an understanding of how your work affects other team members, departments, and overall project outcomes., • Apply healthcare, medical, or laboratory experience to support accurate clinical research data input and coordination., • Support the training and development of clinical research data practices by leveraging foundational healthcare or lab experience. Required Skills and Experience • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare, medical, and/or laboratory settings for this entry-level role., • Experience or strong interest in clinical research and clinical data management., • Patient-facing experience in a healthcare or related environment., • Working knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology., • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accurate records., • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clinical and administrative staff., • Effective time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and contractual timelines., • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneNote., • Ability to use electronic medical records (EMR) and electronic data collection systems., • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical and regulatory standards., • Professional demeanor, reliability, and consistent punctuality. Work Environment This role operates in a hybrid work environment based at a headquarters location in Nashville, with three days onsite and two days remote each week. The position supports a large oncology-focused standard-of-care and research organization, providing exposure to multiple investigational drug studies and a robust clinical research infrastructure. You will work closely with clinical, nursing, and administrative teams, using electronic medical records (EMR), electronic data collection systems, and Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneNote. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48000.00 - $58000.00/yr.
