While we are mostly a remote company, travel is required for some team meetings and cross function projects typically once per month or once per quarter, for some roles like sales or external facing roles travel could be up to 90% of the time. About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to build a cutting-edge product that has a direct impact on the care pathway for heart disease diagnosis and treatment. This role will work closely with product managers, program managers, engineers and scientists to integrate exciting new features into the imaging pipeline for innovative imaging systems. Key Responsibilities • The fundamental function for this role will be the software implementation and integration of software in low latency medical imaging products., • The successful candidate will bring strong C++, Image Analysis, and object-oriented programming experience to work in a variety of areas within application software, • The position will include code development, and fixing bugs using highly efficient and well-organized code in either of the following languages: C++, C#, and Image Analysis, • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and Non-AI solution within the software development lifecycle, • Provide documentation, test plans, and unit tests for all software changes, • Perform code reviews, ensuring great unit test coverage, and driving bug triage, • Bachelor's degree (6 years) in a technical field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics), • 5+ years of experience in real-time software development in medical imaging or highly regulated industries, • Demonstrated experience with real-time imaging pipelines, including frame grabbers and low latency data processing units, • Strong multi-threading development experience on Windows or Ubuntu platform, • Strong C++ and Object-Oriented design skills, • Experience with scripting coding languages as Python and JavaScript, • Familiarity with 2D/3D image processing and medical image analysis, • Must have experience with the challenges of mixed-mode (managed/unmanaged) debugging, data synchronization, and memory management, • Excellent English communication skills, oral, reading and writing Impress us more, • Prior experience of setting up DICOM services like Store, Storage commitment, Query/Retrieve, and Modality Worklist, • Prior experience in designing cloud solutions and supporting production projects on AWS, • Knowledge of API standards including REST or GraphQL TTC*: $185k - $243k *Total Target Compensation (TTC): Total Cash Compensation (including base pay, variable pay, commission, bonuses, etc.). Each role at Cleerly has a defined salary range based on market data and company stage. We typically hire at the lower to mid-point of the range, with the top end reserved for internal growth and exceptional performance.
