Job DescriptionSalary: $85,000-$90,000 Job Summary: As part of Reset Behavior, the BCBA is responsible for conducting descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments (Ex, functional behavior assessments, functional analyses) and skill-based assessments(Ex, VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland-3, SRS-2, etc.). The BCBA interprets assessment results and designs comprehensive, individualized ABA treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices and behavior-analytic research. The BCBA provides training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), and other responsible parties implementing behavior analytic interventions. The BCBA monitors client progress through ongoing data review and treatment plan updates, and provides parent/caregiver training to support generalization and maintenance of skills. Reset Behavior specializes in providing applied behavior analysis services to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, emotional and behavioral challenges, and related developmental or mental health diagnoses. Reset Behavior is a collaborative provider focused on wraparound support, including social skills groups, parent training, community-based services, and interdisciplinary collaboration with speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and other professionals. BCBAs must be willing to provide services across both clinic locations, including the Henderson clinic, as well as in-home and community settings based on client and company needs. Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide direct behavioral services to clients in individual and group sessions, • Oversee ABA home programs and provide parent training and support, • Participate in social skills groups, • Oversee ABA community and clinical programs, • Complete training requirements for Rethink Behavioral Health and professional, • Complete session notes promptly and approve session notes completed by the RBT, • Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and in emergency crises., • Complete reports and required assessments for authorizations and insurance, • Be able to work with a diverse team of professionals to provide the best behavioral services possible to clients., • Attend staff trainings and agency meetings voluntarily, • Meet company standards for telehealth, • Meet weekly for billable hours, • Maintain licenses and requirements as required through the BACB and the state of, • Other job duties as assigned by Melissa Kenyon, Owner of Reset Additional Duties and Responsibilities (If required): • Attend and complete the following before beginning the job, • Appropriate behavioral intervention strategies, • Learning theories and instructional methods, • Ethics, laws, and regulations of acceptable behavior interventions, • Developmental processes of children, adolescents, and adults, • Work independently and make decisions within the framework of established guidelines, • Follow guidance from senior-level staff to enhance own professional development, • Work with a diverse team of professionals in a respectful and collaborative, • Supervise clients during treatment sessions BCBA Benefits (Full-Time) Full-time BCBAs at Reset Behavior are eligible for the following benefits: • Up to 80 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year, accrued monthly!, • 8 hours of Birthday Pay, • Paid Company Holidays (per company calendar), • Medical, dental, and vision insurance - PPO Gold (Company Pays 50%), • 401(k) retirement plan eligibility after one year of employment with 3.5% match!, • Continuing education and professional development support Required Education and experience: • Have obtained certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, • Obtained the Nevada licensure requirements (LBA), • A minimum of 2 years experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs. Preferred Education and Experience: • A masters degree or national equivalent with a major in psychology, special education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field of study is preferred., • Additional certification as a special education teacher, school social worker, or school psychologist in the state of Nevada is preferred., • Knowledge of medical billing for ABA and navigating insurance is preferred Work Environment/Physical Demands: • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, • Must be able to lift and carry clients with adaptive, • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time., • Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of, • Must be willing and able to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan in the course of working with children with challenging behavior., • Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection., • Must be physically present at the assigned job location, which may include home, school, and community placements., • Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication., • Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means. Additional Eligibility Qualifications: • Must be eligible to work in the United States, • Must have a valid Drivers license, • Must have Proof of insurance, • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between different job sites within the Las Vegas area., • Must pass pre-employment and background check, • BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) license authorized by the BACB, • Must be registered with the state of Nevada (LBA), • Must have release of information, fingerprinting, criminal history of record check, official transcripts, photographs, reference forms (3), and ADSD application to become a registered BCBA in the state of Nevada., • Must obtain yearly safety care training certificate, • Must obtain the basic life support training every 2, • Nevada LBA must be renewed yearly, • BACB must be renewed every 2 years with 24 CEUs.
