Job DescriptionSalary: $48-$60 Hourly Requirements: • Full-time position (40 hours per week), in-person at the Lloyd Center Tower in Portland, Oregon., • Base work schedule: MondayFriday, 8-hour days (either 7:00AM4:00PM or 8:00AM5:00PM) with a 1-hour lunch., • Experience with SAP., • Prior utility industry experience. PacifiCorp is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to provide scheduling, cost control, and other project controls functions for major utility projects. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining realistic project schedules based on available resources and constraints while supporting project teams with cost, budget, and performance analysis. Key Responsibilities: • Develop detailed and complex project plans, including work breakdown structures to support activity scheduling., • Prepare cost estimates and project summary reports, including tables and graphs of earned value metrics., • Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to Project Managers., • Collaborate with corporate offices on cost, budget, and procurement issues to ensure timely resolution., • Create and maintain project schedules in Primavera and establish project structures in SAP., • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure department performance and identify improvement areas., • Analyze project cost data and variances in SAP, recommending necessary adjustments., • Research, evaluate, and develop creative solutions for complex scheduling and process challenges., • Apply advanced scheduling logic, including constraints, lag/lead relationships, float management, and critical path methodology., • Generate and analyze ad hoc project control reports for management and stakeholders., • Provide leadership and mentoring to associate-level team members, acting as a key knowledge resource., • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience., • Minimum 5 years of project controls experience., • Proficiency in Primavera scheduling software., • Experience with project life cycles and reporting on project performance., • Knowledge of the utility industry., • CPM certification., • Be part of a leading utility committed to powering communities responsibly., • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits., • Opportunities for career growth and skill development.
