Job Description ROCKFORD HOUSING AUTHORITY Job Description Digital Marketing Coordinator SALARY LEVEL: SCHEDULE 4 FLSA STATUS: EXEMPT DEPARTMENT: HOUSING OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OR DESIGNEE Position Overview: The Digital Marketing Coordinator will support the Director of Strategic Marketing & Communication in executing and managing a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategy designed to increase community engagement, strengthen brand awareness, and support organizational growth. This role plays a key part in implementing digital campaigns, managing content across platforms, and supporting initiatives such as newsletters, blogs, social media, and community outreach. The position also ensures all communications align with RHA's mission and regulatory requirements. RHA's marketing strategy emphasizes digital engagement, storytelling, and community-centered communication across multiple channels. This high-level role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and the ability to oversee multiple marketing campaigns. Primary Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Campaign Support:, • Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various channels including SEO, SEM, social media, email, and PPC., • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and effective campaign delivery., • Content Management:, • Support content creation efforts for websites, blogs, social media, and email marketing, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy., • Oversee the development of visual and written content for digital platforms., • Plan, record, and edit video content to support marketing campaigns and organizational initiatives, • Capture video at events, community programs, and internal initiatives, • Manage live streaming for events, announcements, and public engagement (e.g., Facebook Live, YouTube Live), • Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, website, email, and presentations, • Collaborate on video storytelling initiatives, including resident success stories and organizational highlights, • Optimize video content for different platforms (YouTube, social media, website) to maximize engagement, • Support promotion and distribution of video content across all digital channels, • Analytics and Reporting:, • Monitor and report on key performance metrics for digital marketing campaigns., • Assist in the preparation of detailed analytics reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement., • Assist in managing subscriber lists, segmentation, and campaign performance, • Track and analyze performance across digital channels (email, SMS, social, website), • Generate reports on engagement, traffic, and campaign effectiveness, • Provide recommendations to improve performance and ROI, • Email & SMS Marketing, • Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns, • Assist in managing subscriber lists, segmentation, and campaign performance, • Support SMS marketing campaigns for alerts, reminders, and program updates, • Coordinate messaging across email and SMS for consistent communication, • Website & Digital Platforms, • Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy and accessibility, • Support SEO efforts to improve search visibility and web traffic, • Assist in managing digital tools including CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), • Monitor chatbot, forms, and online engagement tools, • Community Engagement & Outreach, • Support promotion of events, workshops, and community initiatives, • Assist in building relationships with local organizations and partners, • Help coordinate outreach efforts that increase awareness and participation, • Compliance & Data Responsibility, • Ensure all marketing communications comply with applicable laws and regulations, including:, • CAN-SPAM Act (email marketing), • CPA (SMS/text messaging compliance), • Manage opt-in/opt-out processes for email and SMS communications, • Maintain accuracy and security of contact data within CRM systems, • Ensure digital content meets accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG), • Support transparent, ethical communication aligned with RHA's public service mission, • Budget Management:, • Assist in developing and managing the digital marketing budget., • Track and report on spending to ensure campaigns are within budget.
