The Commercial Lines Team Leader will provide high level support and mentorship to team members, including Account Coordinators and Account Managers in Denver, CO! The Team Leader maintains and strategizes business retention, and serves as representative of the team to Management, in partnership with the Department Manager. This role requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion. How you'll make an impact • Concentrate on day-to-day account management of complex and/or specialty/niche industry client accounts., • Focus on building, expanding, and solidifying relationships with existing clients at all levels within the company and leads appropriate resources to address the client's risk/capital management needs., • Collaborates with management to develop, maintain, improve and implement goals and objectives across the Commercial Lines Department., • Serves as a mentor, positive role model and trainer to Account Managers and Account Coordinators., • Performs annual Employee Performance Appraisals for team members., • Resolves Employee Relations issues with assistance from Human Resources, • Comprehensive oversight of all premium, claims and accounting responsibilities tied to the service of the Client., • Establish and monitor best-in-class client service deliverables, processes and procedures to meet and exceed client expectations. Required: Bachelor's degree and 7 or more years client service and/or claims management experience OR High School degree and 12 years experience. License required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able and willing to travel approximately 25% of the time. Preferred: Leadership and/or people management experience, directly or indirectly, strongly preferred. Professional designation may be preferred, such as CPCU, CIC or ARM. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
