Candidate will use a variety of hand and power tools, such as impacts, wrenches, as well as equipment for welding, brazing, and cutting. Responsibilities and Duties: • Ensures proper operation of large industrial equipment such as power generators, turbines, mining devices, assembly line machinery, and machinist tools., • Uses hand tools, hoists, jacks, spud wrenches, micrometers, laser alignment and power tools to assemble, install, align, and adjust piping, valves, pumps, and other various equipment., • Ensures machines perform to specifications by conducting tests; modifies and fine tunes machines., • Dismantling of existing connected and independent equipment., • Gathers and assembles parts for repairs or modifications based on blueprints., • Troubleshoots and repairs machines including when unexpected issues arise., • Performs preventive maintenance makes repairs on older machines., • Provides advice and recommendations to management concerning new machinery., • Plans and facilitates installation of new or refurbished machinery, which may include building platforms and foundations., • Conducts safety inspections of facilities., • Maintains records, including safety logs and inspection details., • Assist with jobsite safety to comply with all OSHA regulations and the hth companies' Safety Program., • Actively champions a positive workplace and safety culture.
