Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description This Level 2 Maintenance Technician role focuses on industrial maintenance in a heavy manufacturing environment, performing both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on hydraulic and pneumatic production equipment. You will work with sensors, hydraulics, servo drives, motors, pumps, conveyors, and three-phase motor controls, ensuring equipment runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime across multiple shifts. Responsibilities • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on industrial production equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, to quickly identify and resolve issues., • Diagnose and repair hydraulic pumps, valves, electrical controls, servo drives, motors, pumps, conveyors, and related components., • Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics to support accurate troubleshooting and repairs., • Read and work with PLC ladder logic to support troubleshooting of automated equipment, with a preference for experience in Siemens or Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC environments., • Troubleshoot and repair three-phase motor controls and AC/DC servo drive systems., • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and hydraulic equipment to reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment life., • Install, adjust, and repair industrial equipment, including electrical and mechanical components, in accordance with safety and quality standards., • Support PLC control troubleshooting and work with sensors and control devices to maintain proper machine operation., • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately and in a timely manner., • Collaborate with other maintenance technicians, production staff, and leadership to prioritize work orders and meet production needs., • Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment while working in a heavy industrial environment., • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical and hydraulic equipment maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment., • Proven experience performing both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment., • Ability to read and interpret PLC ladder logic, with a preference for experience in Siemens or Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC systems., • Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics., • Hands-on experience with hydraulic pumps, valves, and electrical controls., • Knowledge of three-phase motor controls and AC/DC servo drives., • Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting, including PLC control and electrical maintenance tasks., • Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery., • Ability to install, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and sensors., • Experience working in a heavy industrial or metal stamping environment is beneficial., • Background in industrial maintenance, including mechanical troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment., • Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices in a high-volume manufacturing setting., • Comfort working with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation., • Ability to work effectively across different shifts and adapt to changing production demands., • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
