Larkin Hoffman is seeking an energetic and collaborative Marketing & Business Development Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing and Business Development, attorneys, and firm leadership to generate innovative and effective marketing strategies—including the development and execution of compelling content—to elevate our brand and drive business development success. We are looking for a strong writer who can assist attorneys and the firm with crafting engaging social media posts, insightful blogs, impactful op-eds, and managing media relations to enhance our visibility and thought leadership. You will also help coordinate events and assist with trade show activations and speaking engagements. You will coach attorneys on business development best practices and fostering relationships to support the firm’s reputation. Duties & Responsibilities: • Owns strategic marketing initiatives for departments and practice groups as assigned. This person is responsible for every point of this strategy – from ideation to execution., • Primary point-person on providing support to attorneys and practice areas with marketing, business development and communications strategies and content generation that can be used in a variety of platforms resulting in client attraction, retention, enhanced brand recognition, and increased exposure and opportunities for the firm., • Responsible for the creation, pitching, editing, and posting of communications that include, but not limited to, social media, Op-Ed’s, blogs, media outreach, awards and press releases., • Coordinate Firm-wide and Department/Practice-specific events to promote Larkin Hoffman attorneys and brand., • Coordinate trade show activations with attorneys and Departments/Practice Groups as assigned., • In consultation with the Director of Marketing & Business Development, conceive ideas, monitor trends within the industry, and formulate effective marketing strategies for the firm while developing in-depth knowledge of the firm’s practice groups, firm experience, and clients., • Collaborate with the departments and attorneys on identifying potential speaking, publication, and professional organization outreach opportunities within appropriate subject matter areas., • Coach attorneys on business development best practices with their individual, their department’s and the firm’s overall business development strategies in mind., • Enhance the external communications and relationships of the firm by working with management, attorneys, and department colleagues on the development of ideas, engagement, outreach plans, and delivery through identified channels while maintaining the integrity of the firm’s reputation and brand., • 401(k) / Profit Sharing Plan, • Paid Parental Leave, • Health Insurance, • HSA/FSA, • Life Insurance, • Employee Assistance Program, • Vision & Dental Insurance (available at employee cost), • Professional Development Assistance, • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on marketing, journalism, communications or a related field., • Will consider equivalent combination of education and/or related experience if candidate does not have a bachelor’s degree., • Minimum of three years prior related work experience in marketing with a strong background in social media and content strategy., • Media relations or public relations experience is a plus., • Minimum of two years of prior client servicing, managing and cultivation experience.
