Job Purpose We are seeking a friendly and reliable Shop Assistant to deliver excellent customer service within a busy accessories and leisure retail environment. You will support customers in selecting and purchasing caravan and motorhome products while helping to maintain high shop standards, manage stock, and assist wider teams to ensure a smooth customer experience. Adhere to all COSHH guidelines. Carry out required weekly stock ordering. Assist in weekly/monthly deep cleaning. Clean, when required, unit carpet for minor spillages. Empty all bins and general waste. Adhere to infection control guidelines. Monitor the environment for additional cleaning requirements. Adhere to manual handling, risk assessment and fire safety. Report faulty equipment to qualified staff Participate as a team member. Communicate with team any problems or difficulties. Maintain resident confidentiality/data protection. Adhere to all unit policy and procedures and maintain up-to-date knowledge. Maintain up-to-date mandatory training. Monitor pest control and report any problems. Report any untoward incidents to the Nurse in Charge. Responsible for the security of keys. Multi-Skilled Operative – Processing Site Location: Plymouth Department: Processing Salary: £16-18ph About the Role NEOS Engineering are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Operative on behalf of our client to support the day-to-day operations of a processing site at Hemerdon Mine. This hands-on role will see you working closely with the site team to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations across crushing, screening, and washing processes. This position is ideal for individuals with a practical, can-do attitude who enjoy working in a dynamic quarry or processing environment and are keen to develop their skills across multiple areas of plant operation and maintenance. Key Responsibilities Support the safe and efficient operation of the processing plant. Carry out and document pre-start and pre-shift safety checks. Assist with the operation of plant including crushing, screening, and washing processes. Maintain plant equipment, including routine greasing and servicing. Report defects, near misses, and safety concerns promptly. Carry out regular inspections of machinery and log issues via the defect system. Assist with basic repairs and maintenance when required. Accurately record production data, including tonnages processed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet site objectives. Follow company procedures and promote best practices on site. Success / Performance Measures Reliable support to site operations and team members. Accuracy and timeliness of records and reporting. Effective identification and reporting of defects. Contribution to site productivity and efficiency. Adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. Experience Required Previous experience in a quarrying, mining, construction, or plant environment (essential). Core Skills / Competencies CPCS / NPORS Loading Shovel or Excavator licence (preferred). Additional CPCS / NPORS tickets (advantageous but not essential). Flexible approach to working hours. Strong team player with a proactive approach. Good communication and organisational skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to site procedures.
