An ambitious, insight-led consultancy is scaling rapidly and looking for a commercially sharp Senior Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of growth. The Opportunity This is a senior new business role with genuine autonomy and influence. You’ll own the full sales lifecycle, develop strategic client relationships and play a key role in shaping commercial conversations at board and senior leadership level. Responsiblities: • Identifying, engaging and converting high-value new business opportunities across insight, data and consultancy solutions, • Building a strong pipeline of new logo clients and ad-hoc strategic projects, • Leading compelling pitches, demos and commercial discussions with senior stakeholders, • Translating complex market insight into clear, persuasive commercial value, • Developing deep knowledge of market trends and client needs to drive urgency and momentum, • Representing the business at relevant industry events and networking forums, • Managing renewals within a strategic client portfolio and strengthening long-term partnerships, • Maintaining accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility and CRM discipline, • Working closely with internal teams to align client opportunities with evolving solutions Requirements: • 4+ years’ experience selling value-led B2B services (data, insight, consultancy or similar), • Strong track record of winning new business and closing complex deals, • Confident communicator and natural storyteller, comfortable pitching at senior level, • Commercially driven, resilient and motivated by targets and growth, • Strong relationship-builder with a consultative sales approach, • Experience in FMCG, food & drink, retail, hospitality or adjacent sectors is beneficial but not essential
