Summary To coordinate, administer, manage, monitor, review and report on all project activities for the company’s Operations Division. To promote the business and ensure quality and safety on all projects. Duties & Responsibilities Principal Duties: • To liaise with the Operations Director to ensure all labour, materials and equipment are allocated and implemented to ensure the effective commencement, progress and completion of all projects to the required budgets and client requirements., • To monitor, review and report on progress and status of live projects to the Operations Directors., • To ensure that all site works, and projects are commenced effectively and to the customer’s satisfaction., • To coordinate and implement the weekly work schedule for the site teams., • To manage the site teams and ensure they are informed of the current work schedule., • To ensure any project reports are being checked properly, authorized, then sent to the client., • To ensure the site teams are working safely, professionally and in line the relevant standards., • To ensure that all site reports, RAMS, test briefs, drawings, photos are saved to the relevant job file., • Ensuring that projects are being run as per programme and as per agreed quotation., • Tracking any variations on projects and raising a RFI’s when required., • Ensuring ITP’s are in place for each project., • To carry out site works and inspections, as required., • To ensure that the operations remain profitable and are constantly improving in efficiency and quality., • To ensure site staff are adequately trained for their tasks and their training is regularly assessed and recorded., • Producing case studies and marketing for interesting, technical and complex projects., • Reviewing site procedures and ensuring best practice is adhered to., • To actively promote Quality Assurance within the company. This includes; Carrying out regular site appraisals of the site teams, logging and updating the register., • Delivering regular toolbox talks to the site teams, logging these and updating the register., • Ensuring that all RAMS, briefs, reports are being checked and are using the latest templates., • Ensuring all site teams are using registered site logbooks to record all test data from site., • Ensuring that all test reports, RAMS, briefs saved to the server., • To liaise with the Quality Manager to ensure the correct and efficient implementation of all quality processes., • To monitor and ensure all Quality requirements are being correctly implemented on all WHTS projects as per the documented procedures., • To ensure all WTS personnel are adequately trained in Quality processes to ensure effective implementation of the system. Requirements • Minimum 7 years in Construction / civil industry., • Ideally 3 years’ experience in structural alterations / investigation / testing / remedial works., • Must be technically minded, with an understanding of structures, hydraulics, load paths, materials, plant and equipment etc., • Commercial knowledge including understanding of JCT, NEC, forms of contracts., • Valid UK Driving License.
