An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor who specialises in Leasehold Enfranchisement to join a reputable legal practice just outside of Portsmouth. They are a full-service law firm that are seeking a Solicitor with a good understanding of the market to join their expanding commercial property team. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, advising clients (leaseholders, freeholders, etc.) on leasehold enfranchisement, lease extensions, right to manage/freehold purchase and related. Duties will include: • Managing a caseload of leasehold enfranchisement matters, including:, • Statutory lease extensions & voluntary lease extensions, • Collective enfranchisement (purchase of freehold by leaseholders), • Right to manage applications, • Freehold acquisitions / sales relating to leasehold enfranchisement, • Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients., • Acting for both leaseholders and freeholders/landlords, demonstrating an understanding of both perspectives., • Working with other as needed to deliver a seamless service., • Supporting business development. The successful candidate will: • Be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years of PQE +., • Have a good technical knowledge or demonstrable interest in leasehold enfranchisement., • Be highly organised and be able to mange a bust caseload.
