Benefits\n\n • Competitive salary of £50,000-£60,000.\n, • Pension scheme with 8% company contribution.\n, • 25 days of paid annual leave.\n, • Optional private healthcare insurance.\n, • Death in service insurance.\n, • Payment of one professional membership subscription.\n, • Cycle-to-work scheme.\n, • Hybrid work environment for flexibility and work-life balance.\n, • Electric vehicle purchase scheme.\n, • Excellent opportunities for career growth and development.\n, • Continued personal development and training opportunities.\nDay-to-Day\n\n, • Lead the design and delivery of electrical engineering solutions for a variety of projects.\n, • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project coordination.\n, • Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering their professional growth.\n, • Conduct detailed engineering calculations and produce high-quality technical documentation.\n, • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.\n, • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and provide solutions to ensure timely delivery.\nResponsibilitiesProject Delivery\n\n, • Lead and contribute to the delivery of electrical engineering design solutions across various projects and sectors.\n, • Develop detailed engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and technical drawings in line with industry standards and internal quality procedures.\n, • Ensure timely delivery of accurate design information throughout all project stages.\n, • Act as a key point of coordination between engineering teams and in-house or external Revit/CAD teams.\n, • Present technical design solutions that meet client briefs and project performance requirements.\n, • Maintain oversight of project deliverables and report progress to line managers or project managers.\n, • Identify and communicate project risks, technical issues, or client feedback to senior team members.\nLeadership and Mentoring\n\n, • Support and mentor junior engineers and designers within the engineering team.\n, • Provide guidance on technical design development and best practice engineering solutions.\n, • Contribute to maintaining consistent engineering standards and design quality across projects.\n, • Foster collaborative working within multidisciplinary project teams.\nCollaboration and Communication\n\n, • Liaise with clients, architects, and other members of the external design team.\n, • Present technical solutions and design strategies clearly to project stakeholders.\n, • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and project partners.\n, • Identify opportunities for future business development through project relationships.\nQualifications\n\n, • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.\n, • Typically 5+ years of experience within a building services engineering consultancy.\n, • Working towards or holding relevant professional accreditation (CIBSE, IET, or equivalent).\n, • Proven experience delivering engineering design across a range of project types and sectors.\n, • Strong understanding of project coordination and multidisciplinary design environments.\n, • Practical experience supporting project delivery across public and private sector projects.\n, • Proficiency in industry design and modelling tools, including:\n \n, • CAD and Revit\n, • Bluebeam\n, • IES or Amtech, EOM, Dialux, and Relux software packages\n \n, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce technical reports.\n, • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and design teams.\n, • Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks across multiple projects.\n, • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within project teams.\n\n If you are a driven and experienced Electrical Engineer looking to make a significant impact in a forward-thinking consultancy, we would love to hear from you.
