Role Overview As our PPC Account Manager, you’ll be the strategic lead and trusted point of contact for a portfolio of PPC clients. You’ll combine deep paid media expertise with excellent client management skills to design, execute, and optimise performance-driven campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft (Bing), Meta, TikTok, and other emerging paid channels. Your work will focus on driving high-quality traffic, maximising return on ad spend, and supporting sustainable business growth. Client Leadership & Strategy • Serve as your clients' contact for all PPC-related communication, strategy, and reporting., • Understand client business goals and translate them into tailored paid media strategies and KPIs., • Lead onboarding, discovery conversations, and ongoing strategy reviews to ensure alignment with performance, budgets, and growth opportunities., • Advise clients on PPC priorities including channel mix, targeting, bidding strategies, creative approach, and budget allocation. PPC Campaign Planning & Execution • Develop and deliver comprehensive PPC strategies across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, and other relevant paid channels., • Plan, build, and optimise campaigns covering search, shopping, display, paid social, and remarketing activity., • Work closely with creative, analytics, and web teams to ensure seamless execution and landing page alignment., • Conduct keyword research, audience analysis, competitor benchmarking, and ongoing testing to improve performance., • Monitor campaign health daily and proactively optimise bids, budgets, targeting, and ad creative to maximise ROI. Reporting & Insight • Prepare and present clear, insightful PPC performance reports highlighting spend, conversions, CPA, ROAS, and strategic recommendations., • Translate complex paid media data into actionable insights and next steps for clients., • Continuously test and experiment with ad formats, messaging, audiences, and bidding strategies to drive incremental improvements., • Stay up to date with platform changes, new features, and industry best practices — communicating implications to both clients and internal teams. Account Growth & Retention • Build strong, trusted client relationships through transparency, performance focus, and strategic guidance., • Identify opportunities to expand account scope through additional channels, testing initiatives, or increased investment., • Support pitch, proposal, and renewal activity for existing and prospective clients. Skills & Qualifications Essential • 2+ years agency experience managing PPC campaigns with demonstrable performance results., • Strong understanding of paid search and paid social fundamentals, including bidding strategies, audience targeting, and conversion tracking., • Hands-on experience with PPC platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker Studio)., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting performance insights to clients., • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced agency environment., • Must be a UK resident or work permit holder. Desirable • Proven experience managing large, complex PPC accounts with significant monthly media spend., • Advanced understanding of automated bidding strategies, budget pacing, and performance forecasting., • Strong knowledge of attribution models, incrementality testing, and cross-channel performance analysis., • Experience leading strategic conversations with senior client stakeholders and mentoring junior team members.
