About the Role As our HSE Officer, you’ll champion health, safety, and environmental excellence across our site ensuring every process, product, and person operates safely, sustainably, and in full compliance. You’ll play a key role in embedding a proactive safety culture, managing compliance frameworks, and supporting our journey to make circular manufacturing both safe and scalable. This role is ideal for an experienced HSE professional within manufacturing or someone ready to take the next step in a forward-thinking, purpose-driven environment. What You’ll Do Risk & Compliance • Lead risk assessments, inspections, and corrective action planning across all operations., • Manage and maintain HSE policies and systems aligned to ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001., • Oversee investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses., • Deliver engaging HSE inductions and ongoing training to employees and contractors., • Maintain detailed records, analyse trends, and report on HSE performance to management., • Use data to drive decisions, improve culture, and reduce risk. What You’ll Bring • Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related discipline., • NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma (training support available if required)., • Ideally, membership of a professional body such as IOSH., • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment., • Strong communication and influencing skills able to engage colleagues at all levels., • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with meticulous attention to detail.

Senior Facilities Site Officer – Peterborough Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 Shift: Mon–Fri 6:30am–3:30pm (40 hours) Weekend Cover: 1 in 4 We are seeking a Senior Facilities Site Officer to join our dedicated team in Peterborough. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for overseeing and coordinating all facilities services across the school sites, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and efficiently run environment. Key Responsibilities: • Act as the main point of contact for facilities requests on-site and via the help desk, • Supervise and coordinate the on-site facilities services team, • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs), • Conduct water flushing procedures, • Perform emergency lighting and fire extinguisher checks, • Coordinate and actively participate in the delivery of both hard and soft services, • Organise events and manage event set-ups, • Maintain the cleanliness of car parks and ensure rubbish bins are emptied Additional Information: • Holiday cover for other engineers: 1:00pm – 10:00pm, • Team of 3 engineers on-site, • Flexible shift patterns may include working with other teams What We Are Looking For: • Proven experience in facilities management or a similar environment, • Strong organisational and communication skills, • Ability to supervise a small team and coordinate multiple tasks effectively, • Flexible, proactive, and hands-on approach to facilities management If you are a motivated, hands-on facilities professional looking to take the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you.
